This was the easiest way to install a rear camera in my Chevy S10, linked up to my Garmin GPS, it gives me a clear, wide angle rear view, I don't know how the batteries will last as I haven't had it more than a couple weeks, the only thing I would have wanted was a way to attach it more securely to the license plate so it couldn't be stolen, as it is, it c could be easily removed.

Very nice item runs on 2 batteries. No wiring, and you can clip it in the license plate and clip it out. If you don't wanna leave it there, wonderful camera.
It block light to your license plate, and I have to look for a led light to place on my license plate. Garmin should make it better. by securing its holder, its easy to fall on rough roads or potholes
The camera itself is very nice, BUT it does not come with a screen. The screen is provided by a backup camera compatible Garmin GPS device. If your garmin device is not compatible, ie too old like mine, then you would have to spend another $100 or so to get a newer, bluetooth enabled, compatible GPS device. I returned it.
It's a good idea to keep some aaa batteries available though, it does go through fairly quickly.
Wish it said what garmin it was compatible with on the box. Just bought it and looked online and says it won't work with my Garmin Drive 61 EX. Fiancé says he's going to see if it will work anyway, so fingers crossed. Wish Garmin put more information on their boxes for their products.
