What an amazing snack for on the go! I live in a hot climate and always looking for healthy snacks that won't melt. This one fit the bill. I love that it's nothing but fruit and is fun for kids to eat. A win win as a mom! I will definitely be purchasing this again and can't wait to try the other flavors! My youngest son tried them as well and said they were good but of course preferred a sugary alternative. However these will be a great addition to our healthy snack bin. The size of the rolls are great and the packaging is fun and colorful. I will definitely be buying the other flavors!
These Bear fruit roll snacks are a smart treat in comparison to other fruit snacks. You can feel good about enjoying a tasty roll of fruit that doesn't have anything else fake or extra added to it. I enjoy just the tastes of fruit for themselves and especially if you're watching your sugar intake--these are super helpful to get a little pick me up for those with sweet tooth's. I liked that they are naturally sweet, not sticky and do not need to be pulled off wax paper. I feel better offer these to my kids in their lunch boxes versus the competitors.
I was excited to try these new fruit snacks because I love mango. However, I was a little disappointed. The mango flavor is delicious, and I love that they are only 60 calories, but I did not care for the texture..it was too firm for my liking. I did like the fun fact cards included in the individual snack packages..and so did my grandchildren! Overall, Bear fruit rolls are a delicious and healthy snack option. For starters, before getting beat fruit roll ups my only fruit roll up history is the classic ones that probably aren't that healthy for you but hey! All kids want a temporary tongue tattoo right? As an adult though I do care to look more at the ingredients and how healthy something is. Checking the ingredients list this one was ENTIRELY readable. With only 3 items. Pears mangos and apples! Not too shabby if you ask me. For $3 you get a total of 10 rolls 2 rolls per package. Do not bad pricing and it's something healthy to put in your kids lunch boxes. Or your own. It also comes with an adorable little spots card. now downside it is shorter and thinner than your average fruit roll ups and it's not filled with high fructose corn syrup goodness. The taste is a bit mild but overall it still tastes pretty good and is a nice and easy snack. If you're willing to pay a little extra for this product so your kids snacks are healthier. Do it. This review was collected as part of a promotion, and the opinions are my own. I got the mango flavor which only has three ingredients, apples, pears, and mangos. I like the ingredients are just fruit. There are no added sugars, it is all-natural. The flavor was good, but it had more of an apple and pear taste than mango. They are like a natural fruit roll-up, but the texture is more grainy so you may have to introduce it slowly to the ones who are used to the artificial fruit roll-ups. I would recommend this for a healthier alternative to fruit candies.
They taste fine, the packaging is cute, but these are just another apple and pear puree product disguising itself as a mango product and using specific marketing and buzzwords to pretend to be healthier than it is. I suspect there isn't a lot of mango in here, and it doesn't taste like it either.
