We buy these steaks online regularly. We don't usually have any problems. However, on this occasion we were given steaks that expired the following day. When we opened the steaks, they were brown around the edges and had a foul smell.
When making substitutions the cost should be shown if much more than original selection so I could make a better decision about the selection. I wanted 3 steaks but did not realize the cost when I approved because I needed food for dinner. 2 steaks were more than my original selection for 3.
Bags were too full -- 2 big jars of pickles in one plastic bag. Bag ripped apart upon lifting from cement doorstep. Am handicapped and cannot lift groceries off doorway floor. Did not ring doorbell or knock - just dumped the way overfilled bags on cement doorstep. WalMart usually great but terrible this time.
I order corned beef. The substitution I got was rib eye steak. These are both beef… but anyone who knows the two cuts and preparations of these meets knows this is not a one-to-one substitution. Also, the quality of the rib eye was… subpar.
I have purchased ribeye on multiple occasions from Walmart. this is the most disappointed I've been in my life with a steak both steaks were tough hard to cut nothing like what I'm used to with Walmart. I wish there was a way to get a refund because this is horrible I tried to eat it and I had to throw it away it's not bad. obviously Walmart's not going to care and they're not going to refund any money. so beware of when you buy ribeye from Walmart from here on out something has changed and I don't like it. I might have to switch stores now from the meat. just please beware
Rotten and smelled disgusting. Three days before they expired also. What a waste of $25.
Steaks were a day before their best by date, but smelled rotten and were brown around the edges. Will not order meat or produce online from this location again.
Who in their right mind substitutes Ribeye steaks when a chuck roast is ordered but unavailable??!! I'd be mad, but in this case I'm furious because of the $6 increase to my bill. What is wrong with the shoppers? This was a 3 hour delivery request so no opportunity given to refuse the substitution! 😤
Smelled off, I cooked it and ate some of it, I felt odd within 1 hour, and within 3 hours I felt like I was at the beginning of food poisoning. I will not buy steak from wall mart any further.
It was brown and had a odor
