Shocking tone from 15W solid state

I laughed when I pulled the GM108 out of the box. Set it to Calif/Hot/UK, Gain 10, Bass 10, Mid 6, Treb 8, Master 3 - the snickering came to an abrupt halt. This tiny box is truly RAUNCHY. I was shocked. 15W and $60??? It does clean pretty well but really sounds good on high gain (withOUT a distortion pedal). All but the heaviest metal are right-on. For a beginner or someone looking for a small practice amp, this is the one. Easily the best amp I've heard in its wattage range - even at twice the price. MG? Frontman? Flexwave? This one pwns 'em. It does hum a little but the modeling and [over]drive are excellent. As an added bonus, it gets belligerently loud for its size. Shocked, again. Clean, jazz, blues, very hard rock getting into metal - it's a win. Does all but "acoustic" and "extreme metal" equally well. For the size and price, GM108 FTW!

I purchased a First Act amp and took it back the next day. This amp is the same money but out performs the First Act Amp by leaps and bounds. It has plenty settings and lots of volume. Perfect size and perfect features. Any type of music I want to play I can get the sounds out of this amp. Buy it!

If you have one of those cheap guitar bundles that came with one of those tiny amps this will make a world of difference. Plenty loud if yu play rock type music and use distortion. If you want a very clean sound it doesn't have much volume then. With a setting of: 4-5 Calif Hot Uk 1 10 10 3 It sounds kinda like AC/DC. Volume has a huge jump from say 1.5 to 2.5.

I bought this amp after reviewing numerous amps and reading reviews and found it to be a really GREAT buy. It is very versatile and has excellent sound from smooth clean to raunchy rock-n-roll. I am very very pleased I made this selection. I would definately recommend it for practice or even home parties as it has plenty of volume for off stage use. Go for it!

If you are looking for a small practice amp, this will do the trick. I was a little upset having to remove all of the selica gel beads that were stuck to the back side of the speaker all around the adhesive. Hopefully it was just the amp I got and not to everyone shipped. It was a pain picking them off one by one. Trying to leave then left a rattling sound so they had to go.

I bought this product with the intention of enhancing my beginning practice. I could not believe the sound that came out of it. I had not expected it to sound so good. It has enough power for a very large room and the price is just unbeatable. I highly recommend it for anybody who uses an electric acoustic guitar or a solid body electric for home use.

I have had the Behringer GM108 for over 2 years and it's definitely not like other 15 watt amps I've played. It has a great sound and can withstand most hard rock genres and I'm even able to Djent on it.Great for beginners and intermediate players.

The best small amp for the $$

Let me tell ya, this little amp is LOUD! I am a beginner guitar player so I couldn't justify paying a bunch of money for a larger amp so I got this one. I am not disappointed! The various amp settings are great and I can get a killer rock guitar sound out of it. The only thing I wish this amp had was a separate volume control for the CD input. For it's price, you will not find a better bang for the buck then this guy.

I purchased this amp for use with a microphone rather than a guitar. I play Harmonica at jam sessions and this amp works great.
