Got a sample pack at the doctor's office and was hooked. Has a very pleasant light smell. Not overpowering. I apply it twice a day at least. The tub is good for use at home, whereas you can use the stick on the go (or at work)! I can actuallly UNDERSTAND the ingredient list. Has an impressive list of natural ingredients compared to complicated chemical ingredients so often found in other products. Has good emollient properties and you can use this product on other rough, dry areas on your body (hands, feet, knees, elbows). Initially a bit greasy on application, but a little goes a long way. I feel that my skin is hydrated and that is way better than it feeling dry & itchy. On here, this product set is also $15 cheaper than other places! (I researched). A very good buy. I highly recommend this product.
I love these products! They do not have a strong scent to them and they really moisturize too! They do take a while to soak in, so I make sure I apply right after I get out of the shower so there is time for the product to soak in while I am getting ready. Plus this product is a more natural product which I believe is best for you and baby.
If you are genetically predisposed to getting stretch marks- you're probably going to get them regardless what you do... HOWEVER, this is the BEST stuff for working to prevent them that I have found. I am an esthetician (skin-care specialist) and also a holistic health practitioner and have used this for 2 pregnancies. I do have a few tiny stretch marks, but they are NOTHING compared to what I would have had if I had not used Tummy Honey. What few little tiny marks I have are not even noticeable because this product does such a good job at fading them during and post pregnancy. This product is all natural which means your skin will absorb it better and also forms an occlusive barrier on your stomach that holds in moisture unlike cheap cocoa butter formulas that don't do anything. It is non greasy and won't stain your clothes. The KEY to making this work is being consistent!!! As for the smell, I think it has a very natural and earthy smell. There are no perfumes in it so Im not sure what that other reviewer was talking about. I swear by this stuff and I highly recommend it.
I ran out of stretch mark cream from a local drug store in November. I began to get dark stretch marks shortly after (being to lazy to go purchase again). I saw this from Wal-Mart and placed an order on line at the end of December. The product came the first week in January before the delivery date which was better for me, because now my stomach began to itch. I started using the product right away and began to see IMMEDIATE results!!! My baby was not due until February, however, she came a month early and is doing very well…..My stomach of course no longer itches, but I continue to use the product and the stretch marks I began to develop are GONE…..I would definitely say this is one that works….but I think the price could be a tad less for the amount you receive. Hope this helps, because it really helped me…..
Doesn't prevent stretch marks nor does the fading cream fade the already dark stretch marks. I use it twice a day. No Results!
The Tummy Butter and Stretch Mark Fading Cream have a really awful perfumy smell. I am not sure if they will work or not... I can't get past the smell to use it. Definitely not the smell one would expect for an all natural product. The Tummy Honey Stick has a much more mild scent and will hopefully work.
