Very good but could use a few more chunks. Also, consider replacing walnuts with “walnut chunks” (a chunk similar to a chocolate chunk but walnut flavored).
How did it work for me,? We'll let's see. It gave me my quite time, it put a smile on my face. I could say I could've rolled over and went to sleep. What someone could've told me before buying it. Not a darn thing I love happy surprises. Thank you Walmart and thank you Tom & Jerry.
If I didn't know any better I would've thought this flavor was made with love and some type of witchcraft- it's that good! ❤️
B%26J makes great ice cream. I would, highly, recommend this one if not for the hard chocolate chips; the chocolate needs a softer delivery system. As is, I pick around the chips which I don't like to do. I am conflicted about B%26J though. The ice cream is EXPENSIVE! I rarely, buy B%26J because there are good substitutes at half the price. I suppose B%26J has, carefully, chosen its price point, but I will continue to buy the more competitive brands.
I was sad to give a mediocre rating because I really loved the flavor of this ice cream. I have never had banana ice cream before and B&J does it perfectly. The addition of walnuts and chocolate pieces makes this flavor simple but delicious. Maybe it was an isolated incident, but my pint had very few chocolate pieces. I think I was averaging 1 chocolate piece for every 4 scoops of ice cream. That's not great, especially since the image on the label shows it being riddled with chocolate. I am hoping this was an isolated incident and the next chunky monkey pint will be better.
This is the first I have tried chunky monkey. My go to is Americone Dream. I love chocolate covered bananas so I thought ... why not? I am so disappointed. Halfway through my pint and have only found 3 chocolate chunks. The ones I did find were delicious!
Spoiled
Arrived completely melted with no extra padding; just placed in Wal-Mart plastic bag. How do you expect it not to melt? It was so soupy that when I opened, it spilled all over my blouse. Do you not provide extra packaging for ice cream?
Purchased this from my local store, drove home with my mouth water, opened pint and found nothing but plain ice cream. There are no walnuts and no chocolate chunks. Poured 1/3 out into a cup hopeing to find some chocolate or walnuts bit nada. Very bummed out, did not eat it. Thanks for not letting me cheat on my diet I guess.
Was home but no motivation given that it had been delivered . Ice melted and so did other frozen foods
