[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am Italian and I know what red sauce should taste like. Berttolli did it again with this product, not too sweet, not too bitter. Just right! My family makes a lot of pasta dishes and last night we tried this sauce. Instead of my homemade red sauce. This sauce was right on the money! I think I'll try it on pizza next time. Thank you. Bertolli-Creamy Rosa! PS The lid was on very tight. Glad it is sealed so tight not to let anything in.

I bought 2 boxes of gnocchi and only used 3/4 of the jar for both of them. This is great for a quick easy meal and tastes like it's from a restaurant.

This Bertolli D'Italia Creamy Rosa is one of the better jarred sauces I have tried and most other brands don't even compare. It is seasoned well and the ricotta cheese is noticeable and adds a delicious twist to the traditional pasta sauce flavor I'm used to. I would definitely purchase this sauce again and add it to my rotation of other Bertolli sauces. The ingredients are basic and clearly labeled, with no apparent chemicals or ingredients that you need to search online to figure out what you're putting into your body. I was also happy with the value of the sauce, container size compared to price.

Hubby even commented that it was good and he's a tough critic when it comes to jarred sauces. The ricotta is not overwhelming either in flavor or appearance, instead adding a creaminess and giving the sauce a slightly lighter color but not as light as light as vodka sauce. Bertolli is one of my preferred pasta sauce brands due to the high quality, fresh flavor. Most pasta sauces include sugar as an added ingredient but surprisingly this one does not; this could be important to someone that is trying to avoid sugar intake.
