I love everything about this candle! It has become the signature scent in my home <3
Kind of rustic smell.
This candle smells so nice and for those who complain about too much soot, how about putting it out with the lid
I have bought 5 BH&G candles and the soot is incredible. This scent is mild with a rather weak "throw".
Smells great and burns a long time, but the scent doesn't last the life of the candle or fill a room.
I bought two of these candles each a different scent. This was the only one i lit. 1st try it set off my smoke alarm. I moved it to a different room & it left a smoke stain on the celling. Couldnt smell any scent so i blew it out. 2nd try i let it burn for about 4hrs & i STILL COULDNT make out any scent. Even asked my husband when he got home if he could smell it when he walked in & he said no. Im returning the other one next time i go shopping.
I purchase the candle from Walmart. Soon as I got home I lit it. Two hours later and still no scent.
I bought this candle because it had a great scent. I brought it home trimmed the wick, and lit it. You can only smell the scent if you are atanding right over this candle even after letting it burn for two hours you still could not smell the scent.. I wish i would not have bought this candle!
The soot from these candles is terrible. I am shocked the BHG would put out such an inferior product. I usually buy the Walmart mainstays brand candles but I purchased these BHG limited edition spa something, blue with a wonderful scent. I began to notice the soot on things in the house and it took me a while to figure out where it was coming from. Then I noticed the soot accumulation around the top of the candle jars. The WM brand candles do not burn dirty like these BHG candles do. I bought another scent in the BHG that does the same thing so it isn't just the one scent doing it. I have noticed that, for some reason, it is only certain plastics in the house that the soot seems to settle on, and it is not that easy to clean off (mr. clean eraser seems to be best for the job). I will go back to the WM mainstays only from now on. BTW I highly recommend the WM woodland sage ... ooh smells so good.
