This lamp is georgeous. I was expecting it to be smaller. I only bought one so I am going to have to buy a second one. It has a medieval look to it i think. The base also has weight to it. I gave it 5 stars.
This is a very nice lamp for the bedroom or as a soft corner light for the living room. It is extremely easy to put together and I was pleasantly surprised with the base. It is not only antique looking but nice and heavy. This lamp will not easily be knocked over. The up lightling is diffused & soft.
Looks like the "real thing" - from a long gone, past era! PHYSICALITY OF LAMP: Appears Expensive Should have purchased two..... Hopefully not many will buy it, I want to be the only one (smiles).
Classy
this is a great small table lamp that is as bright as a regular larger sized model and even comes with a fluorescent bulb. The cord is nice and long and comes with an on/off switch on the cord. The lamp is sturdy and looks great, just like in the picture on the website. The price was great too, as I am on a fixed income
I really love this lamp! It feels and looks very high quality. We bought one each for our nightstands. It even said that it's for nightstands. We knew it was going to be about 10" tall, but we didn't realize this would be a problem. The problem is that the first thing you notice is the coiled energy saving lightbulb that comes with it (BTW, it doesn't take regular lightbulbs. It takes smaller type 2 lightbulbs or something). They're beautiful, so we're looking for different places for them. It's hard to put them up higher because they don't give off enough light for more that nightstand lamps...
