These drapes were exactly what I was looking for and the value is GREAT! Looks great in a contemporary room/office and colors are exactly as advertised! Great product for the money!
I ordered these and I'm glad that I did. I did have to take up the hem a little....Other than that, they look very well made and chic - they look custom made. They press out and hang very nicely as well. Great value and a great purchase!
I was skeptical at first ordering curtains at such a good price. I typically spend a lot more at department stores for all my drapes/curtains/window treatments. My local Walmart does not stock these, but being able to return them to the store if I didn't like them is a great option. Once they arrived I immediately opened them and hung them. Wow!!! I love the way they hang and look in my newly repainted and decorated dining room. Everyone who has came over to look at the room cannot believe the drapes are from Walmart, and better yet under $20 per panel. I have decided now that I like them so much that I am removing my mini blinds from the windows and just ordered 2 more panels of the same curtains. While these are not the heaviest of insulated curtains, they have really helped in keeping my bay window cooler in the hot afternoons. The grommets are very classy looking and give the curtains a nice touch. Just remember that although these curtains are a nice 50 inches wide, they shorten quite a few inches when hung on a 1 inch curtain rod. My bay window is 96 inches wide and thought 2 panels would cover it, but they ended up being about 1 foot too short, hence why I am ordering 2 more panels. Overall, I definitely recommend these curtains to anyone looking for a quality option in window treatments. As I continue to redecorate my new house, I will definitely look at Walmart first for all my window treatments before spending $$$ elsewhere.
I was looking specifically for summer panels (for a living area) that would let in light without needing to fiddle with opening and closing them everyday. I live on the floor level of an apartment and did not like the idea of using sheer panels b/c they would not afford enough privacy. These panels are perfect for what I need. These are lined panels so that even with backlighting, no one can see into my flat. I selected the 94" long panels. I easily ironed out the creases (from the packaging). I now enjoy waking up to this soft natural lighting. I also saw a 13 dollar decrease in my electric bill since putting these up! Before putting these up, I had black out panels that made my flat so dark I had to turn on lamps. I have had a chance to wash my panels and they came out in perfect shape, only suggestion I would make (if you don't want to have to iron them out) is to make sure to hang them as soon as they come out of the dryer. These pictures show what they look like WITHOUT ironing. Not too shabby!
These panels are just beautiful. Great value! I have searched several weeks for just the right panels for our bedroom windows. The weight is perfect. They hang so nicely. The seam that joins the color blocking hits exactly at the bottom of the window. They actually look custom made. The seams are a little sloppy, but I pressed the panels before hanging them and the mistakes are not noticed at all. The grommets are great if I wish to close the panels. Very nice value and very satisfied!
I ordered 10 panels for 2 windows and was pleasantly surprised with how well they're made for just $20. per panel. The hems were even, the grommets slide on my rods easily, and these are actually the 1st lined panels I've ever owned... thanks to Walmart's price. There were a few loose threads at the seams, but they were easily removed without doing any damage. I ironed these immediately before hanging; so I can't say how well they will wash n' dry yet. The panels look textured, like a cotton duck; but they feel like silk. Sunlight comes through them just enough; so the room isn't too dark when I have them closed all the way, too. The color shown online was pretty accurate, but I wouldn't call the bottom color "straw". It's a little more of a tan, with a golden hue. The top is cream. The seam on these panels meet right at the bottom of my windowsill. Perfect spot for it. They arrived quickly, and I was able to hang them before a week went by. I didn't pay for any extra shipping or handling charges, either. I'm very, very pleased with my entire purchase. Thank you Walmart !!
I am very happy I purchased these drapes. I was looking for 95" drapes at a good price. These are half the price of 95" drapes I saw elsewhere. When I saw these I could not believe the price. The grommets are in a new bronze metal finish that matches my existing drapery rods. I didn't know if I was going to like the Ivory color because I was wanted white drapes but the color compliments my paint color. The straw color is lighter than what is pictured. These colors match my color scheme. The drapes are contempoary in style and would go with any decor.
I cannot say enough good things about this product. I do not shop at Walmart for much home decor, but after researching grommet top panels I decided to buy 4 of these for my 2 sliding glass doors. These are so beautiful and they still allow some light to come through, but offer enough privacy. You cannot see inside these at night time even with all the lights on inside. I am so happy with my purchase. They come wrinkled when you take them out so just a steam press and they are good to hang. The wrinkles will not just fall out of this fabric. I put on a 1 inch curtain rod and it allows me to open and close the panels very easily to allow me to use my sliding glass doors. everything was the same length and beautiful. You can see for yourself in the attached pic.
My first experience with grommet draperies and I doubt I'll ever use another kind! I would recommend these curtains except for one thing... package wrinkling. The wrinkles did not "fall out" after hanging. They are washable, but even after washing and "wrinkle care" drying, it appears they still need to be steam pressed. Still, for the sale price, they are a good value and look very nice.
This was adverstised as being top engergy efficient aka "insulated", however the white backing was paperthin, tiolet paper would have been heavier. I was expecting a better quality lining for an energry efficient thermal curtain. These did not fit my needs and I had to return them. Wish the pictures on line would have showed a little more detail and I wouldn't have wasted my time ordering, picking up and than returning them.
