I really love this heavy duty set that this tray belongs to. So beautiful. Even matches our older set of dishes they dont make anymore. I hope they keep this set around awhile as it is frustrating as you add to the collection and then it disappears. All the pieces so far say they are dishwasher and microwave safe on the barcode sticker, and warns will also become hot in the microwave with the food. It would be nice of they created a Turkey platter or large serving platter as well.
The Better Homes Dotted Farmhouse Rectangle Tray is really nice. I lie how the dots appear to be raised on the tray; yet, smooth. The tray is more of an off-white beige color. I'm sure it will be an excellent tray to serve crackers and cheese. However, the tray is so pretty that I decided to use it as a display.
This is such a beautiful tray with intricate edging detail. It is very versatile. I definitely think I will get a lot of use out of this pretty tray. As a serving dish I used it to fancy up corn on the cob! See photo* It adds a little elegance to just about anything you want to serve on it. I thought it would be mostly for appetizers but am finding that it will be a staple serving dish. It's also pretty enough just to display! It measures around 14 inches long and about 5 inches wide. You can fit a good amount on it. I can't wait to use it for stuffed mushrooms or just a cheese assortment. This dish is going to get plenty of use! I recommend this dish for anyone who likes to present food in a lovely way.
This rectangular serving dish has some weight to it, not in a bad way though, it has a pretty raised herringbone type pattern around the edges and is oatmeal in color.I've already used it to put fruit on and it makes a nice centerpiece on my patio table, this dish is also dishwasher and microwave safe.
I love Better Homes and Gardens. I already own a matching set of sheets and pillow cases and also own one of their throws. What I needed this time was a serving tray to arrange various foods on my dinner table. This tray is really nice. It weighs a little over 2 lbs. and is rectangular shaped. It measures 15.51" x 6.48" x 0.98". It has a subtle geometric design on a white high gloss finish making it blend well with my other dinnerware. Since I regularly bake bread, I can use the tray, everyday, to plate my slices. Of course, it's versatile for other foods as well like fruit and vegetable slices out of my garden. I can also use it for hors d'oeuvres: both cold and hot because it's microwaveable. It's 100% stoneware which means easy cleanup and dishwasher safe. It's beautiful. Subtle. High quality. I highly recommend it for a classic addition to your table setting.
I love this tray. My current trays are round or rectangle but very heavy. This tray is durable but not heavy and bulky. Yea! This tray is the perfect size for small gatherings. I have used the tray for foods such as; ten small fruit skewers, a dozen sliders, 24 small quiches. It dresses up your table for ordinary dinners. Parties aren't in our near future so the tray makes everyday meals feel special. It's very versatile. I can use it for fruit, desserts, appetizers, I love the fact that it fits in the refrigerator so well. A round tray takes about twice the space in the fridge or the table. It stores so well in my dish cabinet without having to store it elsewhere because of size. It fits in the dishwasher rack well and no issues after washing several times. Other trays I own are awkward in the dishwasher. It is microwavable but my microwave has a rotating plate so it won't work in my microwave. I love the beige dots on the edges, it makes the tray look very unique and expensive. It has a nice shiny white finish that looks like a quality tray. I have many different dinner plates and it looked well with them all. I plan on purchasing a second one to have on each side of my buffet table. Because of Covid-19, I am not having large gatherings but my neighbors have seen me carry it out for outside dinners and they asked where I got it and thought it was very nice.
This is a really cool platter. It has a pattern around the edge that is pretty beautiful. The platter is off-white with a gold toned trim. It is dishwasher and microwave safe. It looks so classy on my counter serving cheese. I would highly recommend this platter.
There is a design on the edges of this serving dish so if you have the collection this would be perfect for you. I've only had it for two weeks and I've already used it for 3 large gatherings. I have also found it useful nightly as a family dessert display.
Heavy and well made. Tray is made of stoneware that is dishwasher and microwave safe. This will be great for serving appetizers as well as sweets for a tea party or shower. The color of the tray leans more toward beige and the dots are taupe in color. I would have preferred more white on white look and that's why I only gave it four stars.
I have been given this platter to use and give an honest unbiased review. I LOVE ANYTHING Better Himes and Gardens ( BH&G), but not real excited about this product. This platter is white, which is what I expected, but the border of "dots" is like a dull yellow. I was expecting it to be ENTIRELY WHITE. To me, it appears dirty, used, aged. I like the AGED look but this doesnt look like THAT. The platter is warped. It rocks on a flat surface and is warped upon looking at it. I love the shape and style of PLATTER, but the above mentioned is discouraging. It is a very heavy ceramic. I have NOT USED IT, but my plan is to use for serving dinner bread / biscuits. I would not recommend this product
