The the shams they have the envelope type closure they are an excellent weight. The stitching design is neutral so it can with any style. The top is 100 cotton the back is polyester. Another perk is you get 12 month subscription to Better Homes and Gardens this is a win win for me. I also have the matching quilt.
We needed a light, bright, clean look for the showing of our house. This was set perfect! Not over done, very cozy.
I got these to replace the ones that came with my bedspread. I searched specifically for black or dark grey quilted damask shams. These are great quality for a great price! I like that the envelope closes in the back and not on the side so the pillow insert isn't exposed. I stuff two pillows inside to make them extra fluffy for back support when sitting up in bed, and the shams are holding up fine to the extra pressure. (My original shams ripped.) The fabric has a soft linen feel and the damask has a very pretty texture. My only complaint is that the grey has a blue undertone, and I was hoping for a brown undertone. You can see in the picture that brown-grey might match better than blue-grey. Not a deal-breaker, however. I love the contrast!

Very nice quilt. Double sided plaid design and has a good thickness to it. Doesn't feel like cheap polyester filler inside. Washes well and didn't notice any shrinking. Very pleased.
This review is for the Queen sized, beige/white quilt and shams. I got this quilt along with 2 matching pillowcase shams. Both of the items are made of 100 percent cotton, made in China. The color is a soft white or beige color, with a bit of a spiral design on it. I think the color and design looks nice and will fit into most color designs of the room. The materials are soft and smooth to the touch and feel comfortable on the skin without being too hot. The set appears to be sewn well and I did not see any wayward threads on the seams. The quality of the set overall seems to be pretty good. The set held up to an initial wash with no shrinking or fading or loose threads. The quilt sleeps comfortably without being too hot. It is not too thick, which for me living in an area where the winters are mild, is perfect for me. It still does the job at keeping you warm though. The pillow case shams are good quality and look nice as well. They are comfortable and soft. 4 stars
Pillow shams have faded spots on them, discoloration
We've had this item (as well as the matching quilt) for roughly 6 months now. Within the first week, the quilt got its first hole. Now the quilt has multiple holes in it. The shams, specifically, the back on one is on pretty decent shape. The other one,however. Best way I can describe it. It's like the material is disintegrating. There are multiple holes
I ordered a set of shams (which there were supposed to be 2 per set) and there was only 1 sham in the package.
