When I unpacked this set of dishes, I was not disappointed at all. The dried peach color is perfect for this time of the year. The leaf pattern is beautifully done. The dishes are not chintzy at all. I am very happy I bought these; Autumn colors are my favorite. My only complaint is that the set did not come with matching mugs. I went to Pier One and bought some great mugs that perfectly match the peach color. Of course, this was an additional expense.
These are beautiful holiday dishes that are great to mix-and-match. We love them. They are festive and gorgeous.
This product is everything I was looing for in my formal fall dining. From the fall chargers, to the Harvest place settings they exceeded my expectations. They compliment all of my fall decorations and exceed my ideas of the perfect table setting. They come out of the dishwasher as beautiful as I first purchased them. Not often does a product come to a full realization of its full potential but this one hit a true home run.
I ordered only 1 set of these dishes for my kitchen hutch to round out my "Harvest" decorating. I ordered the 'dried peach' color. The color is gorgeous and I am very pleased with them. I gave them a 5 star on durability, but I have only had them for several weeks and have not moved them from my hutch, so do not have a 'true' rating for this category. In retrospect, I should have left it blank. Anyhow, I was elated to find several of these salad plates in different colors at my local W*M, so picked up some green and ivory for $3.00 each to contrast with what I had. They look very nice. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase!
Great everyday dinnerware and backup dishes to go with our new formal dinnerware when extra dishes are needed.
I received these using the site to store shipping. over all not to much of a wait period. I did have one broken bowl but one peice out of four boxes I figure I was pretty lucky. You'll be pleased to know I didn't throw the broken bowl away. I used them to make some wall sconces out of the ruins.We sure enjoyed them at thanksgiving they sure made for a pretty table.
i went online and found these and thought they would go with our kitchen and so i told my mom and she loved them and we kept thinking about them since we didnt have the money at the time and when we went to wal*mart next (couple of months after) we saw them and ended up buying them. its been a few months since we have bought them and my family loves them!!!!!
These seem fairly sturdy, were not as hot to touch as I expected when used in the microwave, and are very cute. Only problem I see after their first use is a few rough edges. I believe it's possible that they may chip easily, but with care they should remain attractive and cute for years.
This fortunately is a little lighter in color, it is NOT bright orange like the photo, which is classier. Got the set in dried peach, creme, purple and green. Don't get the green its ugly. The dried peach along with the creme, really made an impressive thanksgiving table setting.
I purchased two sets of these dishes. On one of the dinnerplates of the first set, the colored glaze is missing about the size of a pea in the middle of the plate and a couple of salad plates have grainy spots in the leaves on top of the plates. On the other set, a salad plate has 4 deep scratches/lines through the plate, almost like cracks. Another salad plate has a chip and two bowls have colored glaze missing in spots. The dishes that aren't damaged are beautiful. I wish all of them were. Also, the color of both sets don't match each other even though I ordered both of them to be "Dried Peach". One set is glossy and the other set has a dull finish. I decided to choose enough pieces to make one good set and will return the other set. I'm debating whether or not to order another set right now to have them for Thanks-giving.
