I have been buying Scentsy for a couple years now and have always liked them, but then my mom told me about the BH&G wax cubes and WOW, am I impressed! I loved Scentsy but now I feel ripped off by them, the BH&G wax cubes are only $2 and they are awesome, great selection of scents, the scent throw is amazing and one cube can fill my entire house! I would honestly say that they work better than Scentsy! I will only buy BH&G from now on. I used to have to pay $33 for 6 little containers of Scentsy, and now; No more Scentsy rip off, middle man, and shipping costs! I have found that the only people that rate the BH&G cubes low or complain about them, are Scentsy consultants.... Scentsy is totally loosing money!!!
These wax cubes FAR outshine both Scentsy AND Yankee Candle. Better fragrance, better throw, and better price! I have yet to find a scent that I DON'T like! Save your money and forget about those other so-called "quality" melts - these are superior in every way!
I've been contemplating purchasing a more expensive brand burner and wax cubes, but decided to give the Scentsational/Better Homes and Gardens brands a try, and I am pleased with both the burners and the wax cubes. This one in particularly, apples and cinnamon, is outstanding. The apples smell so realistic, and the cinnamon, for me anyway, lasts a long time. As one who enjoys both scents, I highly recommend this not just for the value, but for the quality. Both burners and waxes have been delivered by Wal-Mart intact and very rapidly.
I had high expectations for the Walmart version of the wax cubes but was greatly let down. The amount you get is less than Scentsy to begin (Walmart is 6 cubes and Scentsy is 8) and some of the scents smell very artificial. There is not as large of variety as Scentsy and the scents do not last nearly as long nor are they as powerful as Scentsy. Also, the wax stains the warmer and gets so hot that it actually does hurt if you touch it, unlike Scentsy. Honestly, I would spend the extra $3 to get a Scentsy bar that will last longer.
I am not sure what the others are talking about...This in no way compares to Scentsy. The Scents even Smell Cheap. The warmers are decent looking. But the quality is definitely not that of Scentsy. I am a bargain shopper for sure but in this case, I think YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!
