I have alpha-Gal. It's a disease acquired by a tick bite. I can't eat mammal. Beyond beef is such a fantastic substitute for all my recipes needing ground beef. I use a bit of olive oil and chopped onions and voila! Spaghetti sauce, meatballs, american chop suey, hand pies! Everything is delicious . I feed it to my entire family… sometimes I tell them!
I have used Beyond Meat in a variety of recipes including a broccoli, beef, and noodle recipe. Even just making burgers or meatballs, this is my favorite product. I also use the meatballs to create delicious gyros.
I like the Beyond Meat Ground 16 oz. because it can be made in different recipes. My favorite is cheeseburger pie with sauteed beef and onions topped with shredded cheese and a topping that tastes like a light, doughy bread. For a vegetarian version, one can use Violife or another non-dairy cheese. The topping is made with Bisquick, milk, and eggs. Substitutions for milk and eggs will work too. Everyone in my family liked it. I also use other Beyond Meat products and would recommend them too.
We've made normal burgers with this, but the most fun was making sliders with our 8-year-old.
Pick your favorite meatloaf recipe, but start with a package of Beyond Beef and mix it with a package of Beyond Hot Italian Sausage. You already have the base for a terrific plant based loaf. You don't need any binder but I always add panko breadcrumbs. The texture comes out perfectly every time with this as a base. I have used everything from Manwich sauce to home made barbecue sauce and they have all tasted great.
Used it to make my own home-made burger recipe and absolutely blew away the beef burgers in a cookout among friends to the point that they could not believe it was a plantbased burger and actually all demanded for my recipe...
I buy a package every week. Believe it or not, I most often put some in my oatmeal every morning, along with avocado, salsa, pepitas and cilanto - for a savory breakfast
Sauteed Beyond Ground with 1 diced onions until browned. Add cooked rice and, Follow Your Heart Vegan Mozzarella shreds and tomato sauce to the skillet. Cut 4 bell peppers (multiple colors) in half, scoop out the seeds and microwave for 3 minutes to soften. Stuff the peppers with the filling and top with sauce and mozzarella. Bake covered for 30 minutes and uncoved for 5-10 to brown the mozzarella.
This is one of my husbands favorite meals. Beyond meat/ mushroom duxelle wrapped in puff pastry and served with an exotic mushroom sauce. … Perfection!!!
Everything I used to enjoy is back! Chili! Tacos! Empanadas! Beyond Beef Ground has made eating apleasure once again!
