I was shocked how cheap the plastic felt, but it does the job just fine and isn't too much of a pain to work either. Just set the whole thing over your buckle part like in the photo then plug in the seat belt. To get it off, just use the knob like a pharmacy bottle top and push down and turn and then push the red release button and screw the lid back on. No need to remove it or anything and the lid pushes and turns easier then a pill bottle. If your kid is smart they might figure it out, but my son has an intellectual disability, so he has not figured out to push down on the top before turning.
