This kit will not rebuild the carburetor but is enough for a simple maintenance type tune-up. It is easier than piecing out the parts needed and probably cheaper.
Generally to make minor repairs to my chainsaws I would have to go to several different stores, and at times I would have to order the parts online. However this product includes most of the parts I needed to tune up my chainsaw...even down to the primer bulb and air filter. The cost of this product is well within expectations of all of the parts together. I would even say that this product is a slightly price than purchasing the parts separately. I recomme this product to everyone.
This is a generic chainsaw kit. It comes with standard sparkplug, primer bulb, fuel filter and air filter. This will fit all 38cc chainsaws. I got it primarily for the sparkplug and primer bulb. These are handy to have if you use your chainsaw often enough that it requires a yearly or semi-annual tune up.
My chainsaw was sluggish and hard to start, not anymore, I think it runs better than new now. Completely satisfied
This was an excellent tune up kit for my chainsaw, and it wasn't even a black max chainsaw. So this was an excellent way to keep my chainsaw function mean properly it is of the utmost importance to keep you're a chainsaw properly maintained so that it will continue to function the way it is supposed to!
The Chainsaw Tune-Up Kit is just what we needed. Gone are the days of me having to take our chainsaw in to get tuned up. With this set I can save time and money and do it myself. The set includes 1spark plug, primer bulb, air filter & fuel filter. After carefully following the instructions in the manual that comes included I was able to perform the tune up myself. I would highly recommend this to anyone with a chainsaw that needs a tuna
I know guys who have run their gas powered lawnmowers for years without doing any maintenance whatsoever. Our gas powered lawn tools are simple devices that will last many years longer with some simple maintenance steps over time. But in our priorities of daily life, that is one of the last things we do. Plus in today's world, we are seeing battery powered lawn tools getting stronger and better to compete with gasoline. But gas powered tools still have a valid place in our lives and the money you spent on yours will not be wasted when you take proper care of them. This simple chainsaw maintenance kit only takes minutes to install and it is well worth it. I make it a point every Spring season to put these tune up kits on all of my devices. That way mine will still be running when neighbors are throwing theirs away and buying new ones.
This is a neat little tune up kit for my husband's chainsaw, his is an Echo, and needed a new spark plug and gas filter plus he will eventually need to replace the air cleaner. This kit also has a primer bulb. You can see the kit all together and then replacing the spark plug. My husband is very happy with the quality of the items in the kit. So when he's happy, I am happy. And next storm we have we'll be prepared with a perfectly working chain saw.
Good kit. Comes with what you would need to do a tune up. It was package very well. Some of the parts like the spark plug could be used for other brands.
This really is a good kit. I am especially pleased with the weighted fuel filter. My chain saw just had an open end fuel line. However it is not a great kit because every two cycle engine I have ever tuned up needs fuel line replacement. It comes from using fuel with alcohol in it. The fuel line either gets brittle and breaks or gets soft and comes loose. A great kit would include about 12" of fuel line. I have some on order and will be able to use the kit when the fuel line arrives.
