I did not dislike anything, I was very pleased 😀 every thing is perfect.
I was pleased with this product although I thought it would be more for an adult, but it is more suited in my opinion for a small child. I'm not into glittery earrings. I ended up giving it to my neighbor who has a seven year old granddaughter. He relayed back to me that she was very excited about the set and even wanted him to stay and play design earrings with her. I would recommend this as a gift for a small child as I stated or, if you are an adult and into glitter, than it is for you too. The directions are pretty straightforward and simple to follow. I would suggested placing paper or plastic under the work space as the glitter is almost suredly to make a mess.
The set comes with everything. The mold works great and the resin set with only 2-3 of UV light that comes with the set
My daughter loves this jewelry making product. It helps create and produce some very unique and beautiful pieces of jewelry. It was very easy for her to learn to use quickly.
I love earrings, so the thought of making my own is thrilling. They look so different than others you make yourself. I can't wait until I have time for this. Packed well, easy to view. Wish Me Luck as a jeweler.
Opened the box and everything was in there so I started making 2 pair of beautiful earrings. First pair are button studs in white cyrstals and I used the suggested E6000 glue to hold the metal ear backings. The 2nd pair were small hoops in blue cyrstals with added small flowers from my nail kit. I also used the same E6000 glue for the ear backings. The molds are all on one piece of rubber and 3 sizes can be made. The included resin said to use in dim light since light causes the resin to set prematurely, so I suggest using this in daytime but not in direct light & no lamp light either. The glitters included were in stiff plastic bags which when cut to use made it hard to control the amount coming out. For this I suggest getting small containers for glitter and in your work space always place newspaper or paper towels down to catch the excess glitter. (It gets everywhere). I also would wear protective eye covers, gloves, mask especially if your having to sand down any rough edges from over filling the form. Use in a well ventilated space cause the resin is strong . If your planning on adding any small design elements like I did ( flowers) be sure to have tweezers to place them upside down in mold cause the bottom is your top that you will see when wearing them. Overall I loved this kit & plan on making more. Would like to get some liquid tints to try also though not included with this package. Great gift for anyone who loves making earrings.
I have always wanted to try making resin jewelry and with this kit, it was so much fun! It had many colors of glitter and the UV lamp is great! Great selection of earring sizes and styles. So much fun it has ignited me to do more. I love this kit and will try more, I was so impressed that I could make my own hoop earrings. Loved it!
I was happy to receive this Blue Moon Beads UV Resin Hoop & Stud Earring Jewelry-Making Kit in return for review. This is a really nice kit. It has everything needed. I got started and had 2 finished pair (pictured) in 10 minutes. It is easy. The directions are very clear and easy to follow. I got started, pouring the resin in the mold, putting in my item choice, the black and silver glitter. I poured more resin on top and placed the light over the earrings. I did about 7 minutes for the dark color. In 7 minutes, they came out perfect. I have a custom made set of earrings in less than 10 minutes. Lastly, I glued on the backing post part. This kit comes with all needed and would make a nice gift with the holidays coming up. I would recommend it for teenagers. The kit includes multiple colors. The molds will make studs and 2 sizes of hoops.
Kit has sufficient supplies for earrings in variety of colors and two styles. Too many variables in directions; humidity and natural lighting are negative factors. Definitely wouldn't use for any young children; process too tedious for a fun craft. Warnings about use around certain equipment.
I used this kit and found it very messy to use. It was very hard to see if the resin filled the molds before glitter was stirred in. The glitter was hard to control and went everywhere. When I was finish with the UV light and it was set, one earring hoop was not fully molded because I could not see it was not in the mold on the end. The other earrings had excess glitter that spilled outside the mold stuck to them. It was not fun to make theses earrings. Sorry I didn't take pictures of the mess, I just threw them away. Not sure I will give it another try.
