Arrived as promised and in good condition. Easy to operate and very quiet on low speed. A bit loud on high speed but have not needed to use high speed. Attractive design. Overall very satisfied.
So far so good. Wishing it would help remove more of the dust in my home. Probably better than it was. I have purchased two for downstairs. Have 4 large non shedding dogs...but wow do we have dander and dust even with the two new Blue Air Purifiers.
I chose Blur Air after doing a lot of research on air purifiers. This is my third for the house (based on room size) and I love them.
My condo is 767 square feet, any smell can quickly take over my entire space. It gets rid of any food smell quickly! The blueair purifier helps with my allergies as well. I noticed I don't sneeze as often as I use to.
We're all learning how important indoor air quality is. I own several premium air purifiers; I am the do-the-research guy. Here is the skinny: The filter is so large - the entire bottom section is the filter - ON ALL 4 SIDES - hooray! Think xtra-large office wastebasket and you've got the idea. It is Scandinavian in look and stance - simple elegance. Single Button - no wifi - no remote; your dollar goes toward maximum efficiency - low noise and great looks. I'm sharing a picture without the color-matching pre-filter. I will also show the unit taken apart into 3 pieces - the top (motor/fan/control button), the metal pre-filter and the giant filter itself. Seriously the filters is 6-8x the size of any other purifier filter I've seen! The pre-filters that reside over the metal cage simply slide on like socks and extend the life of the primary filter; plus they're fun and help you match the room. Another great feature is the large single button control embossed with the blue logo word. It brightens for a few seconds to tap it once for on/off or sequentially for level 1, 2 or 3. Then it gracefully dims to resume its understated presence in the room. It does such a quiet-great job of improving the air and keeping dust off my hard surfaces and expensive electronics. Couldn't recommend it more and I can honestly say you would spend 2-3x the cost to even approach the clean air delivery rate and structural quality.
Purchased the purifier 3 weeks ago and I can tell a difference in the indoor air quality. This is important due to pollen that comes out this time of year in our area.
I bought this air purifier when smoke from forest fires started to really bother me, even inside. It was shipped right away and it completely cleared the air. I don't smell the smoke inside at all. My throat does not feel raw and my eyes no longer itch. It's my favorite appliance, for sure.
Great product. Quiet, and efficient. Only suggestion.... add wheels or rollers.
My new 211+ been running 3 days in my bedroom / closet hall area on high. I bought because of high rating on consumer reports- the noise level is acceptable … size was little bit bigger than expected, my friend must have a smaller model, i love the look and the size i can work with! Considering price, look and specifications as well as cost to operate great value and i will buy 2 more for my apartment. Set up was simple, I had a harder time registering for extended 2 yr warranty. Tip- follow the instructions exactly then explore web site and product info. Question to BLUEAIR IF A RECEIPT IS REQUIRED FOR WARRANTY SERVICE WHY NOT LET ME ENTER THAT INFO AT REGISTRATION? MY GOALS WITH PRODUCT- DUST REDUCTION, ODOR(COOKING) AND BACTERIA/VIRAL REDUCTION.
Recently bought my second Blue Pure 131, as my first (2 yrs old) was damaged when my 3 mastidane pups knocked it over onto the wood floor--and the fan was damaged. This air purifier is excellent is so many ways, but I wish it was more durable--or repairable. ALSO, should be made in USA!!
