This is my second Blueair. I bought a smaller model for the bedroom a couple of years ago. This larger model is for the living room. I sound like a nerd, but I love them both!
I purchased the BlueAir air purifier about two months ago. I am a physical therapist and I recently moved my practice to be in my home. Patients were having trouble with their allergies due to my animals. Honestly I wake up congested most days also. I noticed a difference the first day and so did my patients. Now when the sun shines in my windows I no longer see dust particles floating around in the air. Very excited about my purchase.
I purchased this item due to the excessive amount of dust in my home. I have noticed a difference in dust reduction but more importantly I notice the air no longer smells stale and my plants even look better.
I bought this last month and I'm so glad I did. I bought 3 for myself and 1 for my mom. My mom has very bad allergies and asthma as well as my brother. She always has a bad cough because of it when allergies kick in on top of asthma. My brother is the same way. So I bought her one for a Christmas gift after a couple of month of research on different purifiers. She loves it. When I talk to her on the phone she doesn't have that deep cough and talks about how good it feels in her apartment now. We have a larger home so I bought myself 3. I placed them in the larger open rooms. My kids as well as my husband have crazy allergies. Mine have been in the more milder side this year thankfully. Within an hr if plugging them in, you could just feel the difference in the air. It didn't feel as stuffy and heavy if that makes any sense. I do have humidifiers as well because it is so dry here with the weather. It definitely makes it very relaxing in my home. My husband was asleep and snoring when we plugged them up because he said it just felt more relaxing and fresh. It's very spa like. I like how it eliminates odors very quickly. If we makes cheeseburgers they all kick in to high speed and it's no time before the smell is gone. I also really like the anti microbial selection on them. I do keep mine on 24/7. If it senses bacteria or viruses, it turns all the way up to start filtering the air. Which is great because of Covid. Which is another reason why I bought this model. It's practically a hospital grade purifier. I've even been looking into trying to get some for some local schools since they do donations. I recommend this to anyone and everyone. If you have allergies and asthma, or just want fresh clean air. The app is also wonderful. I can control all 3 of the purifiers with my phone if I need to. My youngest son likes to touch them so the child lock comes in handy. The app shows your trending air quality and the settings each one is on. It also shows the filter life you have left. You can even set them to turn on and filter when you are 15 mins away from home. So say you turn them off and go to work or go anywhere, you can set them to the gps in your phone. When you are 15 mins away they will kick on and filter so you have fresh air when you come home!!!
Yep, reminds me of a well built appliance. Preforms perfectly, and is very quiet. When I cook indoors or step back inside after grilling, this appliance kicks into high speed and filters the odors and settles back to low speed. I highly recommend purchasing.
Pretty cool Purifier but its kind of big but I get why. Performance is pretty amazing. of course we hate that its expensive but it works very well and cool design too. For this machine to be very expensive I hate that it only gives you Limited Warranty from one year to two (2) years. For this price it should be at least 4 year warranty
This air purifier is a great product. It cleans the air successfully. I enjoy the ease of use with the app. My only issue is that on the high setting, the fan is loud but that's a small inconvenience for fresh air. At night, I keep the fan on the lowest setting and it's barely noticeable. Thanks Blueair for a making a product that helps with my allergies and ensures I'm breathing clean air.
The Health Protect 770i is a well designed air filter with impressive build quality. It is a large unit and would be an eye sore if not for the attractiveness of its industrial design. Noise levels on fan speeds 1 and 2 are low. 3 is definitely loud. What does it do well? I trust that the unit is doing its job. We have two types of whole house air purification. Even so, the 400 sq ft room where it is located isn't part of the main HVAC, and the air now feels very fresh in there. What it does not do is address odors. At least it can't handle VOC's, as we were doing some refinishing in there and the machine made no appreciable difference. But we got this for smoke because of last year's forest fires, and now I am less confident that it will remove smoke odors during the next fire. It would be helpful if BlueAir made explicit on all their devices which ones address odors the best (or don't)
Was hoping this would fix my seasonal allergies but my allergies have not changed. I read reviews that said they noticed a difference in air quality but I myself and visitors have not. Well made machine but noisy at full speed. I hoped buying an expensive air purifier would work as well as my old winix did but this hasn't.
Does not remove smoke; we purchased this unit after installing an air cleaner on our HVAC. The reviews were promising, and I have relied on this reviewer before for similar products. Epic fail. The only smoke free air is immediately adjacent to the air purifier, on high, a location that creates a strong breeze and prevents conversation.
