Make a perfect gluten free pie crust!
The best !! Pizza Mice !! in the world are amazing because Bobsredmill 1 to 1 flour makes that possible! We are able to create our wonderful world of food for our bakery using only this flour mixture and it never disappoints in taste or texture. We searched years trying to find and create the best mix of flour that is reminiscent of childhood baked goods we loved. The ratio is perfect and is true to it's name which is wonderful! So thank you to Bob and his staff, our pizza mice are filled with cheese, baked with the 1 to 1 flour and spices, brushed with butter and Parmesan and ready to dunk in marinara for friends and family to enjoy! No matter what our next cooking or baking adventure is, Bob's 1 to 1 is a home run every time!
I have tried various brands of gluten free flour and hands down Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free 1 to 1 Baking Flour is the very best! I just substitute regular flour for this flour in every recipe and the results are fantastic. Majority of the time no one can tell the difference! I am a professional dessert chef and own a bakery for many years. I have always used this flour and all my gluten free clients rave about my desserts. Even the non gluten free clients love it.
Perfect every time!!! Efficient shipping and wrapped with care! My daughters love the muffins we bake three mornings a week with this awesome flour!! Being gluten free is a challenge but knowing I have your product always at my fingertips makes me smile!!
This is my favorite Gluten Free Flour ! Ordering direct was easy and fairly quick. I like this brand & blend because I can swap it cup for cup with any recipe. So far I've made chocolate chip cookies , sandwich bread, hamburger buns & chocolate creme filled cookies. My picky young daughter with Celiac's has enjoyed everything! We will be ordering again.
After trying many different gluten free flour blends, this one is by far the best. When using it for my baking needs I feel that the quality and versatility is above my standard expectation. I use this for many different types of baking and cooking needs (breads, cookies, batter for frying, etc) and my results are always successful. I appreciate the versatility of this product the most. I feel I can trust it in any recipe that calls for gluten free flour blend.
I use Bob's for all of my cooking and baking needs. I've recently started preparing historical recipes for my website, and it's great to be able to substitute Bob's 1:1 GF Baking Flour wherever a recipe calls for all-purpose flour, so that I can enjoy the recipes. Substituting this flour for regular all-purpose flour works every time! Pies, cakes, cookies, sauces... it's the best!
I made pizza with BRM gluten-free flour for my daughter who just found out she has celiac. She loves my regular homemade pizza, so I was thrilled when this GF pizza was so good! It was chewy and crispy and delicious! I am so happy to find this flour that we can use to make all kinds of yummy GF goodies. I couldn't find a recipe for pizza dough on the BRM website, so I used a recipe I found on goodforyouglutenfree. 10/10 will make it again!
So far I have made 7-up cake and banana nut bread with cranberries. It's very nice to just substitute for flour. I noticed two things that cost a star. The first is that you have to amp up your flavors. So for like lemon extract you will need actual lemon zest if you want it to sing through. The other is that the rice flour still retains a bit of grittiness. I will say that this stuff has co.e a long way from what I had to do in the 90s for Gluten free. Thank you.
I have used this flour for many things and have had wonderful result, except with bread. The loaves do not rise. I don't know why it fails so badly, but my husband is the baker and makes great bread for himself. When he uses the same recipe to make GF for me with this flour it is beyond disappointing. If this flour worked for bread, I'd give it a 5 star rating.
