I share the same sentiment as the previous reviewer. Looks like they've been replaced by the black bean burgers (which seem to be taking up plenty of space that could be shared with the Boca). Bring 'em back Sams.......it's one of the few reasons I have an account.
***** BRING BACK THE BOCA BURGERS BENTONVILLE ! ***** If you, like me, don't care to consume meat, Boca Burgers are the way to go. We don't have meat in our house anymore (even for the dogs!), we have veggie and soy burgers, sausage, etc. When I make these in my grilling pan with a spray or brush of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, they brown up nicely and I put them on multigrain thin rolls with spinach, green peppers, onions and baby Bella mushrooms along with low fat provolone cheese, they aren't the same as a Philly Cheesesteak, but they are darn close. An added benefit to going meatless that surprised us was our cholesterol dropped along with our weight. No more pills + no more meats = Happier and healthier Us (especially since joining a gym in March, I've now lost 50+ lbs since 01/01/13 and 8 clothing sizes). ***** BRING BACK THE BOCA BURGERS, BENTONVILLE ! *****
Delicious! I wish they carried this leaner version at my walmart near my house. It is difficult to find. My family enjoys this lean and tasty meat alternative. I love them. No guilt burger.
These are so bomb. Growing up we ate more veggie burgers than going out to restaurants. I love that they taste like the real deal with out all the other stuff. Beef hurts my stomach so I can't eat it like that or if at all. I love adding grilled onions to my burger it's tastes so so good. A little lettuce and tomatoes yaas honey. And don't forget the pickles lol I definitely recommend.
The original vegan burgers are the hands down best “veggie”burgers on the market. I can not believe that you have discontinued this amazing product. All of your other burgers are absolutely horrible... I tried the “turkey” burger and threw the package out! I am extremely disappointed, you have discontinued your boca crumbles as well... I have had to switch to Gardine, and it doesn't even come close... why would you take a winning product off of the market? So, so disappointed!
these burgers are seriously one of my favorite foods! the vegan ones are the lower-fat add veggie burgers but they actually have a lot of flavor they're really great. you really don't even have to add any cheese or fattening stuff to it because they are so good maybe a little bit of lettuce and tomatoes or avocado but these burgers are just great I love them!
These lovely boca burgers are helping me lose weight by keeping my calories low. Other veggie burgers are much higher in fat. These are perfect!! Please never stop selling them!
These are pretty darn good! To me, a homemade hamburger is still better but these do the trick. Be sure to use plenty of condiments.
The new "turkey" replacement to the original vegan burger is disgusting. The slimy texture, strong smell, and overpowering (and unpleasant) taste have ruined Boca for me and I can't buy these. I loved the original vegan and have been buying them for a decade, using them as much for recipes as burgers. The new "turkey" is not suitable as an ingredient, when the original vegan was awesome in recipes and made the best tacos I've ever had. PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL VEGAN. TAKE MY MONEY!!!
What if a Marketing Team decided to add unnecessary calories, putrid taste AND greasy, slimy texture to an otherwise worthy product? You have your answer in these new "Turk'y" patties, the answer to a question nobody was asking! Seriously, I am hoping that the point of this creation was to bring back the original vegan burgers to acclaim as absence makes the heart grow fonder. Otherwise, I have no idea why a single person or animal would prefer this product. Then again, as I read these reviews I see multiple people rating this this 5 stars as if it's still the vegan burger, while simultaneously trashing this monstrosity. Apparently these don't know how reviews work. You wouldn't say The Godfather III is 4 stars and then talk about how great The Godfather was and how Godfather III was bad, right? I swear, people are dumb.
