These are so good! These were one of the first things I tried when switching to a vegan lifestyle and I have never looked back in regret. These patties are super crispy and taste just like chicken. I love the flaky outside and juicy chicken on the inside! I put these in the oven on the broiler setting and flip halfway through and they come out perfect! I even pop them in the microwave to have a quick dinner and they come great. I like to enjoy these by putting one patty on a toastes hamburger bun with lettuce, mayonnaise, tomatoes and a slice of guacamole on top! I love I can enjoy eating these and not feel guilty or like Im cheating on my vegan lifestyle. These are remind me of spicy chicken sandwiches except these are healthier for you, and meatless. I highly recommend these to vegetarians and meat lovers alike you won't be disappointed.
They taste nice in sauce, but I wish it still had all that flavor without being so bad for your health. Too much sodium.
I eat these several times a week. I put some mayonnaise or Chick-fil-A sauce on it, with bread or a tortilla. Delicious!
Yum! I've decided to eat less meat and add more plant based foods to my diet. These patties are a convenient meatless option. They have good flavor with just the right amount of spice. The best thing is that I can't tell it's not actual chicken! I do recommend cooking them on the stove top rather than microwave - they'll be more crispy and a lot less soggy!
Good vegan burgers are hard to find and these are delicious! Like the other reviews say these aren't really spicy, but the 'spicy' flavoring on these is great. These come out tasting the same in the oven and in the microwave so they're yummy even in a rush. Def give these a try if you're looking for a more humane way to enjoy a 'chicken' burger :)
I've been vegan for over two decades now. Boca was the first brand available in the 90s. Their burgers, vegan chicken and crumbles are all phenomenal. These are spicy, but not eye watering spices. They have a nice kick to them and crisp up perfectly in the air fryer. They are also great baked or pan fried.
My picky husband couldn't even tell the difference between these and our regular chicken patties. I usually bake them in the oven or toaster oven, to get a nice crisp to them. They taste wonderful on a sandwich with lettuce and tomato, and even in a parmigiana. I really enjoy the spicy ones. They aren't too spicy, but have a little flavorful kick. My kids prefer the original flavor best.
These are ok, not sure why review people are going so crazy over them. Heated mine in an air fryer to get it crispy - ok around the edges but still squishy in the middle. The high salt content probably helps the flavor plus I had to add a ton of mayo to be able to finish my sandwich. So, I defeated my purpose of healthy eating in an attempt to make it palatable. I miss real meat :-(
These patties are LOADED with sodium! Crazy amounts! It sucks because I was a huge fan and ate these everyday, but the sodium content is just too much... Morningstar "chicken" patties are a good alternative, tastes good and lower in sodium
