Use this product regularly to manage my Type 2 diabetes
I started using Boost Glucose Control (chocolate only) as a breakfast substitute since Feb 2011, along with EZ Sweetz drops (replacing white granular sugar) in my coffee. I was pre-diabetic at that time. At my 6 month review in Jul 2011, my doctor was very pleased and is no longer that concerned about my glucose since I plan on continue using it. Chocolate is the only flavor I've tried and I drink at least one a day since I don't eat breakfast or lunch. It's very good cold.
I ordered the wrong boost. I ordered the one they give patients in the hospital. I still kept it and drank it ( nutrional facts were different from the orginal one) it was delicious. It came early and I will reorder the RIGHT one next time. I don't eat breakfast, so this is great for breakfast and for a snack. No chalky taste, love the choc ones.
I enjoy this product and it helps me with my diet since it can go along with me where ever I go and it's easliy accessible.
I have used this product for some time now! The pro dust is very good and I recommend ordering from this company!
The product is great but every other time my subscription fails because you are out of stock of the product!!!!! How in the world can you be out of stock when you are the ones who make the product??????
My husband is diabetic and has suffered several year with Achalasia of the esophagus Recently had surgery which turned bad for him and spent 11 days in the ICU The Boost has been a great help during the past several years His favorite was the chocolate However, we have not been able to find anything except the Rich Chocolate He cannot tolerate this with his swallowing problemsnot allowed on his diet He is adapting to his new eating patterns Keeping his blood sugars has been difficult without the chocolate boost Had I known it was to be discontinued I would have purchased cases to get him through this terrible time WHY OH WHY DID YOU STOP MAKING THE REGULAR CHOCOLATE DIABETIC BOOST
Boost Glucose Control, has been a great meal replacer. I had surgery last Spring and had no appetite afterwards, but obviously being diabetic needed to eat. I used a container of Boost and a piece of fruit and did very well.
My Mom is almost 89 and lives alone I am there every other day and my sister and I make 3-4 phone calls a day to check on her She has ALOT of trouble and most times cant open these bottles of Boost unless we are there Otherwise its a great meal supplement as she has very little appetite anymore Shes diabetic and must eat and needs that nutrition and protein
I bought Boost because of the advertising. I have type 2 diabetes. I experienced strange rises in my BG. Finally I checked the Boost. My BG had been running 109 - 128 for over a week. Fasting and 2 hrs after eating. I woke up in the middle of the night. Since I was up I decided to take my BG. It was 117. I was hungry so I took a Boost. 4 hours later my BG was 168. I had had nothing but Boost. 3 hour later it was still at 162. I have experimented with it and decided it is not as advertised. All these reviews say nothing about checking BG they just say it is a good meal replacement. One company had advertised Carb Smart in a drink for glucose. That was a waste of money as well.
