The design of the sound bar is very impressive; sleek, modern, and capable of elevating any living room. I was so impressed by the ADAPTiQ technology; allowing me to hyper-customize the sound quality of the sound bar based on preferred sitting areas in my room. This feature really gives a "next level" experience and is a nod to Bose's long-standing reputation of quality and innovation. The sound bar comes equipped with all the ports you could need: HDMI, HDMI eARC, or Optical Cable and effortlessly connects to Bluetooth, Chromecast, and Airplay. I have enjoyed this sound bar so much that I have invested further in other Bose sound system products to complete my experience.
Got me my first noise complaint lol 😆 🤣 I love my new soundbar from Bose. I am glad I went with this one instead of the arc. The bass module is a must.
We needed a new soundbar for our gaming area, and the Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar more than fits our needs. The first reason I love it is due to the beautiful, non-obtrusive design. It fits nicely at the base of our television, its glossy piano-black finish adding a touch of class. It is low and sleek, so doesn't get in the way of the screen at all. I think it took us only two to three minutes to set up. Power cord, HDMI-eARC, and we were up and running. The sound it produces is just beautiful. We've listened to music, watched live college football games, streamed our favorite tv shows and the newest blockbuster movies. The Smart Ultra Soundbar performs flawlessly in each of these tasks, filling our medium-sized room with clear, crisp sound that envelops us. The BOSE connect app is intuitive to use (just like the dedicated remote). We particularly are enjoying the AI-based dialogue enhancement feature. So many shows and movies have seemed harder to hear the dialogue in for the past few years, and this feature all-but-eliminates the problem. I will definitely recommend this soundbar to any friends and family looking for one. Extremely happy with the product.
Had older receiver style home surround sound wired system. Purchased Bose smart ultra soundbar then added base module and satellite speakers. Connectivity was easy using Bose music app. We are absolutely enjoying this system. If price is an issue consider watching Bose refurbished items. If you already have Bose registered products see if they qualify for trade up program discounted purchases.
I see why the seismic set cocst that much and it's the second best investment I ever made so far in the house. The surround sound is amazing first time experiencing that at home and the bass module makes the floor shake. I love everything about it except for the (extra small) rear speakers and the need to have internet.
I've had many bose products but this is my first sound system I ever bought and it's the best as the whole set with the Module bass 700 and the 2 little speakers compliments it extremely well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
The Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar is a big upgrade for us. With our old soundbar system, I was always asking my husband if it was turned on as the sound quality was so low. He would always say yes, and I would be surprised. With this Bose soundbar, there is no question it's on and working. You can hear the direction of all sounds and it feels like you're in the theater. I love how loud it can get. It brings our entertainment viewing to a whole new level. The fact that it's Alexa responsive is also a huge plus. It was really easy to set up and although it's a bit longer than our other one than we would like, it's well worth it. We love the modern look.
You can definitely hear difference when you switch from tv speakers to bose soundbar. Sound is deeper with great amount of bass. Love the surrounding effect while playing games and streaming movies. For single unit I think it can't get better than that I'm sure it would sound more with additional speakers but if you are looking just for deeper sound for your movie watching experience, I'm sure that you will be pleased with this product. Great quality. I feel that this sound bar would look a bit more modern and flashier if there would be some sort of option to display maybe like a build it clock or lights. Overall design is very similar if not the same as previous models. You would think that upgraded, newer version should have some sort of changes outside not only features that it offers. Set up on the other hand is quick and easy. Can be done within minutes.
i have been looking for soundbar that would enhance my “movie watching” experience. Sound from my tv is a bit flat and i wanted to add something to bring it to life. Set up for bose soundbar is pretty easy don't need to be tech savvy to get it going. Just connect bar to the outlet, plug in HDMI cable and/or optical cable. Then install Bose app on your phone or tablet and follow the steps. App will ask you to plug in (included) headsets that will help to calibrate and set up sound for the spot in your area that you are going to use to watch/listen Tv from. Soundbar itself has modern, nice to eye look with glass top, rubber pads on the bottom the prevent from movement or falling down. Only thing that missing or i would prefer is some type of display. It's hard to tell how high volume is, it doesn't display anything just blinks if you push any button on the remote. For this high class of a soundbar i would expect a little bit more in that department , make it look a little more fancy or high tech. I guess you can keep it on max and control it from tv remote. Remote comes only with 7 buttons but most settings are available in the app also the volume control. Sound is crisp, fills out the room definitely upgrade from tv speakers. Good level of bass and treble that can be controlled also from app. I think that depending on the goal that you trying to achieve it can be just enough to get that special effect that you are looking for or if you want a little more shake it would be better paired with subwoofer to get more bass and make it sound deeper. I think it's great bar for smaller room by itself for bigger room probably paired with modules and/or speakers. Innovative surround sound ( Atmos) added height channels to allow 3 dimensional experience again it's amazing feature if you are close enough. I tested it in my living room and in my gaming room where tv was closer and more compacted and definitely it was a winning set up. I have app connected to my pandora account and i can turn it on from my phone and listen to favorite music. Sound is clear and feels like it comes from same room even when I was upstairs. I was also able to connect bar to my alexa device getting updates and notifications though the soundbar ( never miss the reminder even if you aren't in same room). It also works with apple airplay, chomecast, spotify, iheart radio, tunein, siriusxm. A.I dialogue mode enhances quality of spoken words. If you play a movie that you watched many times you will definitely notice difference. I encountered little issue with the soundbar. Randomly one of the days soundbar stopped working. I thought turn it on. Light was blinking but sound was off. I tried pair it again, but it wouldn't connect. I thought that it was my wifi but other devices worked just fine. I tried another day and still no luck. Decided to unplug soundbar and hope it will reset and actually it worked, and everything seems fine now. Guess it was some sort of a glitch.
I did buy this about a month ago and had/have issues getting the digital optical cable to work. I have an older Hitachi Plasma and the sound bar does not recognize the signal coming from it and I do not have a HDMI eArc connection. I did however talk with a Bose tech who was able to get it working through my Fire Stick, not ideal but working.
