The stool was great and easy to put together, but it was to tall for me . If you are under 5'3" you need the stool without the foot rest. I returned this model and purchased the one without the foot rest and it is perfect.
Very well made and the chair fit the needs I had near a work table and the adjusting lever just makes it perfect. Very well built and sturdy and the seat is very comfortable. Vinyl fabric is top quality and should last for years to come. Excellent value for the price paid.
We have only had this chair for a month, but it is sturdy and very comfortable. Thick padding and nice fabric should last quite a while. Easy to assemble. Far surpasses other chairs in this price range.
You can assemble this with or without the foot ring. Without, the seat height range is 21 to 27 inches. It is about six inches higher with the foot ring. I tried both ways, and I am using it now as a work stool in the garage without the foot ring. Works great, and the adjustable height with wheels is really handy for the worktable, for assembly, etc. (I saved the foot ring so I can use that when needed for tall jobs. This beats the typical garage stools hands down.

The drafting stool is very comfortable and affords a great range of height adjustments for my son who is 6'4". He does a lot of graphic design work -- drawing by hand any digital tablet -- and this stool has been a very effective aid. The stool arrived exactly on time and the tracking information provided was not only helpful but greatly appreciated. Assembly of the stool was straight-forward. I am considering purchasing a second stool for use elsewhere in the home.
The wheels need to be better swivel wheels. The ones on it do not swivel good.
For the price, these chairs were exactly what we needed for our lab benches. They were a little high with the round foot piece attached. So for some, we didn't attach it. The cushion is a little hard making it the reason I didn't give it a 5 stars.
Granted, I've only had it a week and one can not give a full review, but so far it is just what I wanted to scoot around the kitchen and work and cook at counter level while taking the pressure off my feet, knees, and back and saving me some pain.
This chair was very disappointing. First the amount of assembly was excessive but surprisingly easy. The chair seat is very small and very cheaply made. It is very uncomfortable to sit on. Since I bought it to use as an artist chair while I paint, it probably won't be used at all. A total waste of money.
