I like how easy it is to remove, by using the quick lever release, your camera from the tripod.
tripod is helpful better for videos
Easy to use even with one hand.
It is strong and stable tripod. I like this fir my DSLR.
Not really heavy duty at all
Seams strong and lightweight
The tripod is barely adequate for it's purpose. There are metal parts but it is mostly plastic and very flimsy. On the plus side, I can leave on my porch for time-lapse photos and I'm not worried about it getting stolen since it didn't cost much.
Bower Heavy Duty Series 58" Photo/Video Tripod was not heavy duty. Nor was it at all stable as described in the product description. The tripod legs were stable enough, but the tripod head could not be secured in a stable position where it would not flex back and forth. This made it impossible to provide a stable and wobble free base for the mounted camera or electronic device. I am returning the item as totally unsuitable for serious photography work or as a base for any light weight electronic device.
