I have had this treadmill for several years. In the beginning I was using it every now and then. However, I have been using this treadmill 4 to 5 times a week for the past two and a half months. I must add, I did not buy it from Walmart, but it is the exact same model that I have in my home. This is a good product, and I have not had any issues with it. My husband uses it often, as well as my 21 yr old son.
Nicely surprised when I got it together and assembled. This thing is built to last. The programs are perfect and the incline at 12 is nice and steep. No way for the price could you go wrong with this. The running surface is large yet the machine doesn't look so in my home. It folds up nicely and with my little one in the house I feel safe having lock and safety drop. Really easy to move too. I'm a 6'1" guy and there is more than enough room in a full on run.
While I did not buy mine from Wal-Mart it is the same model. I have had mine for over a year and it works great. I have not had any problems with it. I have walked, jogged and ran on it. It is made very well, heavy duty; not like most treadmills you see at the stores. It is very close to professional grade.
This treadmill is well built, very heavy and works very well. But, it's very very slippery. The belt is pretty slippery but the sides are a very slippery plastic. This is a design flaw and makes me wonder if anyone at bowflex ever actually ran on one. It seems that anyone would notice right away that when you want to step off the treadmill, on the side and you can't without holding on, that that would be a problem. Anyway, my husband is going to put some non stick stuff on the sides, like my old one had, and it should be fine, but what a basic thing to screw up. I actually had to buy new shoes with better grip on the bottom just to use it. I like to run on and upward incline. Also, very small shelf for reading material. I love the fan...
I wish I had researched internet reviews on this treadmill. I purchased item and received it in a unsatisfactory standard. The box showed no signs of damage, therefore I'm thinking the damage was from the Nautilus warehouse. The computer console had chipped paint and several scratches, the comfort cooling fan was inoperable. The belt rubs and makes an irritating noise loud enough to be heard by sleeping family. I payed the extra to have home delivery, now I'm out of shipping fee and have to lift the extremely heavey thing and return it to a Wal-Mart store. Bowflex offers no return or customer service contact info, just a generic number on the back of the manual. The options have nothing for equipment concerns or questions. Bowlfex doesn't support its reputable name for this treadmill.
