The Freestanding Bowling Ramp is a great tool which makes bowling accessible to those in wheelchairs or with limited mobility. The portable ramp stands firm on no slip rubber feet and is constructed from strong steel piping, finished in chip resistant powder coated overlay. The ramp is taken apart easily for transportation and storage.
This ramp was used in a nursing facility where residents of various physical/mental levels can enjoy a program TOGETHER! The residents cheer each other on and are amazed when they get a strike or spare. We turn the dining room into a bowling alley -What FUN !
Easy to assemble, the shipping was super fast.We use this for our special needs adults who are ambulatory but have problems throwing the ball down the alley.
As an Activities Director at an Assisted Living Facility for the Aged, this is a wonderful addition to our weekly program. We incorporate it with our intergenerational activities and found it appropriate for our low functioning residents also. It always brings a smile to eveyone's faces when we are using it.
League and Open Bowling programs will use these ramps for years to come
This ramp makes everyone a winner! Great for wheel chair bound and for those unsteady on their feet. Great addition to our game. Unless you have room to store assembled it has to be taken apart to store.
I am an activity director in a nursing home. I purchased this ramp to allow my residents in wheel chairs to have a better exerience bowling. One lady is 102, never bowled, but watches everyone else bowl every week. With this ramp she bowled and beat everyone, along with a big smile every time she rolled the ball down the ramp. Nice product.
I use this product with students who use wheelchairs. It's good because they get to practice using a ramp before taking a field trip to the bowling alley. The thing that is not good about it is that it is a 3-part ramp instead of a 2-part ramp like it was supposed to be.
If I could choose zero stars, I would! Don't waste your money!! I ordered four for the bowling alley I manage and they didn't even last 6 weeks and are now garbage!!
