For the money, these little boots are just great. I wasn't sure what to expect and was very surprised to find them as heavy and well made as they are! I don't know how well they would work in a really cold area, but for my grandkids and a day of sledding in the mountains, they will be wonderfull.
I bought these for a boy with Dad in prison. When I received them I thought they were very warm looking. High enough to keep snow out and very comfortable. I bought the camoflage color and was able to find a hat and gloves at walmart the same color. Bought a green jacket for him. I think he will stay warm. The price was right.
Bought these for everyone in the family last year... only needed to replace our son's because he outgrew them. (Old ones held up well enough to donate.) They are toasty and keep feet dry in slushy sloppy snow. Great product. Can't beat the price. Sizes seem to run bigger than we would usually wear, but plenty of room for super thick socks.
They were as expected...nice...fleece inside and very warm. Great for the price!
These fit well, are very comfortable and my son can move around very well in these.
I went to Walmart looking for the women's boots but found them really loose around my ankle. I do not have a tiny foot (women's size 8) or thin legs, but decided to try the children's 6. They were a perfect fit and made my ankle feel much more stable. I think the Velcro on the side is going to make these very easy to get in and out of and allow a custom fit. I have not yet worn them in the snow, but the soft thick lining and the strong rubber are sure to provide good protection in the cold!
The last winter boots that our son had, he wore year round - out playing in the creek and riding his four wheeler. Needless to say, he wore them out, but we sure got our moneys worth out of them first. So then I started looking for their replacement and I found these in green camo. They look great and are nice and thick. I just hope they last as well as the previous boots he had. He's had these for about 2.5 weeks now and so far, we are happy with them.
I just bought 2 pair for my young boys who can be rough on their things. So far so good! I read a review last year on this product that the velcro didn't stay closed once it got wet. I haven't had those problems; maybe they fixed that issue this year.
I was a little concerned what these boots would be like. When I received them I was pleasingly surprised at how nice they were. Well made and I knew they would be warm for my grandson. He loved the camoflauge and the velco closing. Would order again.
My son received these boots for Christmas. He wore them TWICE before the one started coming apart. The one boot has ripped where the material meets the rubber. VERY SHODDY WORKMANSHIP! These boots are now out of stock, so I am unable to exchange them, even if I wanted to. It is going to be extremely difficult to find him boots at this point in the season.
