As a long time Remington user, mine came apart and frankly after getting a Series 3-340s, I wished it had died earlier. What a world apart the Braun and Remington are. Not even close. The Braun is super smooth saving, no irratation and shaves closer than the Remington. Built better, the list goes on and on. For the price, I'll never use another.
I have been using Braun shavers for 20+ years and this is by far the best I have every owned. Does everything very well. Shaves very close, even a two or three day beard. I use mine dry and it works great. Great for all parts of face. When it wears out, I will get another one like it.
I got a great deal on Cyber Monday. My husband loved it and actually rated this the best gift even though he got Flip Audio headphones and Dolce & Gabbana cologne. He kept shaving throughtout the day on Christmas!
After having a Braun Series 5 Activator for the past 10 yrs I didn't think the Series 3 would measure up. But to my surprise this is a better shaver than the Activator. It easily gets the hard to shave areas under my jaw line and chin and neck where my hair goes every which way. It is easy to use and clean and has a very strong motor. I love the push button on/off switch. I hope to operate this shaver for many yrs to come.
I bought the Braun Series 3 Wet & Dry Shaver 340s for my husband. It works wonderful cutting the facial hair especially in hard to reach areas. The shape and size fits comfortably in the hand. This shaver was purchased to replace a Remington shaver with three circular blades.
My husband used to use a razor and a shaver. He only has to use this shaver now, and he uses it every day. Also, his beard doesn't have to be wet, so it's easy peasy!
After reading several reviews and watching review videos online I was somewhat apprehensive about purchasing this 3 series. It seems like everyone wanted to promote the more expensive 5 and 7 series models. I decided to go ahead and purchase this model due to the fact that it was on sale and it still has the three different cutting heads on it like the higher models. When I brought the product home it was charged and ready to go in about an hour. I had not shaved in iver a week and this three series cut it all off with ease and my facial hair was quite long after a week. I completed my shave in less than five minutes. The multiple cutting heads greatly reduced my shave time with no irritation to my skin. I definitely would say not to skip over this 3 series shaver!
I have been using the shaver for 2 months now and I'm very pleased with this product. My only complaint is the trimming part seems a little too small ,but will get into tight places though.
I purchased a Braun 340s-4 on sale and so far I have no complaints. I've used it in the shower and dry. I get a closer shave in the shower but either way I'm perfectly satisfied. Not as close as with a blade but pretty close in my opinion.
The shavers performance is on par with the price. It is not very effective on heavy stubble.
