So far so good, but I've only used it twice. It's done a good job, and made my preening-life a ton easier. Definitely recommend it for ladies with a little downy fluff, who want to feel more confident. I wouldn't use it on your face because it's fast. 40 tweezers, 2 year warranty. Have fun :)
I bought this to replace a Braun epilator I had bought 10+ years ago which I had used so much it was just worn out. In the meantime, I had wasted money on other brands of epilators. I LOVE this thing!!! I wanted a corded epilator, which this is - so was my old one, as I have bought cordless, and they just don't keep the power to do both legs no matter what they say - two hours on a charge my butt! This is perfect and left my legs so smooth and soft the first time I was shocked. The light is awesome to help spot areas missed. I used to have extremely tough hairs that grew in one day to stubble, meaning I had to shave everyday which irritated my skin. I have used an epilator for several years now and will never shave again! It hurt like crazy the first few times but definately worth it.
this is my first epilator, I purchased it mainly for my underarms and I will say it does it's job. the pain is excruciating at first (at least for me it was) however keep in mind you are pulling the hair from the root.. Nothing pleasant about that ! Since Epilating my underarms about 6 days ago my armpits are hair free and even brighter ! I am obsessed with this item :)
Very good product. Yeah it hurts like crazy the first time you use it so make sure you use the cooling glove and take it slow. But then it's an epilator not a shaver. Fantastic results though and everything stays silky smooth for weeks! Fast shipping and well packaged. Thanks guys. Good job.
I started using epilators from the age of 18. For the past 22 years I tried Phillips, Panasonic and Braun brands. I found that Braun does the best, quickest, less painful job ever. Previous model (that died of the old age) was Braun 3170. I was very happy with this epilator. In 45 min total time it would do excellent job of epilating my armpits, legs, bikini zone and any other unwanted hair. I used it for 7 years twice a month. It is still working, but just slows down when overheated. So I ordered Braun 5280. It has twice amount of twizers than the previous model. In 30 min I didn't have any hair below my eyelashes! I am very pleased with the quality, strength and design of Braun 5280. Like advertised - it picks up even shortest hair. Light is a great addition! Love the product.
Braun epilators have been my best friends for years now. This new one is a lot more gentle than the older ones and very efficient. It's better than waxing...especially in summer when we're in bikinis and shorts every day, waxing can be a bummer because a girl has to wait and have less than showable legs for a while. With the epilator, it's off when you need it to be. Love it.
So I bought this awesome thing based on the reviews and I am happy I did. I wanted to use it on my face I just use it on my face it works great it takes about two weeks for me to have to use it again. The first time I turned it on the sound it made was horrific it was my first time using one but after a while you get use to it and I love the results.
Great product for people who's tired of plucking and shaving their underarms.It's not painless, but it plucks the root of the hair which means longer lasting hairless underarms and legs for one or two weeks. Plus, no more dark underarms caused from razors. What can I say, I'm loving this product!
The only bad thing I have to say about this item is the plug continuously falls out. Since this has to stay plugged in while in use can be irritatting. Other than that the item works well. If its your first time with his kind of item then be prepared for some discomfort. You will get used to the discomfort after multiple uses. The results are worth it.
I don't have a clue how this product has good reviews. I have been using Phillips epilators for years. I wanted to try a new one so thought I would give Braun's a try. Not only is it ineffective in removing hair, my skin got stuck in it 4 times in one use causing injuries. I wish had used it while it was in the return window. Such a waste of money, don't go for this product.
