Every time I purchase a large size container of cottage cheese, it usually gets wasted because I'm the only one in the house that eats it. This is great, tasting and low and fat and calories and perfect for on the go.

These individual sealed packages make all the difference! Even though this is the 2% vs 4% fat, it's creamy enough that you don't notice a difference. I tend to use it in savory dishes, but it works just as well in the morning with some fruit.

Cottage cheese can be polarizing but as a distance running athlete I know it is a healthy source of low calorie and high protein food. A serving size has 100 calories and 13 grams of protein. I enjoy the taste of cottage cheese. This brand's product has soft curds and it isn't salty tasting. It's a healthy way to recover from a workout. I add nectarines to mine but it goes great with many fruits.
