I got this product in hopes of helping me get some work done around the house, particularly in the kitchen. It has been wonderful. My daughter is 12 weeks old and I pop her in the seat and she'll sit and play while I work. It's portable so I can move it throughout the house with me so she can watch me or look at the toys.we also take it to Grandmas house so she has somewhere to sit and play while we visit. The turtle is a little big and when it gets swinging watch out because it is likley to bonk your child in the face. Out of everything hanging on the toy bar the information and care tag is the thing that seems to be getting her attention the most at the moment. I have used this every day for the past month and I'm still on my first set of battieries. The chair automatically shuts off after a certain amount of time so the batteries don't run down when your mommy brain forgets to shut it off (which I have done several times). Some reviews mentioned that they were having problems with the back bar falling off. When I was putting it together I noticed the same thing, but I found that if you snap it in correctly according to the directions there is no problem, it hasn't fallen apart scince. This product is a great value especially if your not looking to plunk down alot of money on things that your baby will grow out of within the first year.
I'm very pleased with this bouncy seat. I bought it for my 7 1/2 week old son because he likes to be sat more upright and likes a gentle bounce. He's very content in this seat and when his happy little feet get kicking the seat bounces nicely. He also seems to like the vibrations. Some people have complained that the toy bar is too close to the baby's face. If that's the case, just turn it around and attach it the opposite way. I figured this out right away. Also, make sure that when you're assembling the floor bars that the ends of the back bar are inserted into the ends of the side bars, and that the rubber feet are positioned correctly. If you do that, you can pick it up by the back floor bar and shake it and it won't go anywhere. For the price, it's a great value and does what it's supposed to. I haven't had to clean the seat yet, but it's easy enough to take off and put back on. My only complaint is that the mirror on the turtle has 3 scratches down the middle, but my son doesn't seem to mind and that's what really matters. I would definitely reccomend this product.
Easy to put together and take the cover off to wash. I never used it with the toybar attached, but she loved the toys that came on the toybar. It kept her safely contained when I had things to do around the house and she even slept in it a couple of nights! The only issue I had is that the mesh underneath developed holes in it, I assume through regular washing. It's still use-able, and I'm looking forward to using it with my second child!
This is a great bouncer seat for the price. The only way we get through a meal is to sit him close and lightly bounce the seat. Sometimes it puts him to sleep and other times he just sits and watches us or looks at the toys. He is not yet two months old so is not reaching or able to bounce himself. It won't be long and he will really enjoy it. It would be nice if the toybar would pivot back for laying down and removing baby and I wish it had some sleepytime music to go along with the vibrations. That would put a baby straight to dreamland. I am still very impressed with this product for the price. FYI-It doesn't eat up batteries either.
I was looking at the bouncy seats and myself was thinking about purchasing the Boppy one because it was cradling like and was great for a small baby...the one I got as a gift with my daughter set upright and I can count on one hand how many times she used it. So I received this one as a gift and though the baby is not here yet I think it is a GREAT product. I actually put it together today in no time at all probably less than 10 minutes and I have had no problem of it falling apart and my daughter who is 2 1/2 (but only weighs maybe 25 lbs) has set in it all evening and not once has it fallen apart. I WOULD definetely recommend this product. Pretty bright colors that a small baby would enjoy as well.
This is great product my mother-in-law bought it for our baby when he was 2 1/2 months old, and now he's 4 1/2 months and we use this throughout the house to keep him entertained while we are getting house chores done and it works fantastic!!! Yes, I would definitely recommend this product.
I got this bouncer to hold my daughter when I needed to get things done around the house. She didn't like it much at first, but has come to enjoy it little by little. It's great, it's durable and it does what it's supposed to do. Just today, my daughter had a bit of a blowout while sitting in the bouncer and it was an easy clean up. My one complaint is that it doesn't have music on it along with the vibration. My brother has almost the exact bouncer, but got it a little over a year ago and theirs has music. But, it wasn't a deal breaker. It's set up is a bit tricky to figure out, but my fiance and I put it together without looking at the instructions. I'd recommend this for any parent.
first i bought the pink breast cancer bouncer from bright starts and it didn't bounce at all!! This one is so much better and cheaper!! but the music player and vibrations didn't work so i used the one from the pink one. My daughter loves this bouncer and when she kicks her legs it actually bounces unlike some of the others. It's also very easy to switch out the toys if you like.
I have this product so i use it however from day one the thing falls apart from the back bar and collapses to the floor it is ver obnoxious my son like to be bounce pretty hard and sometimes ti comes apart while boucing It is comfy for him to sit in and eat but if i was to do over if spend money to get one that doesnt fall aprt ALL the time
it was a great gift until the bars holding it up fell apart every time my son was it...it didnt start doing until my son was like 4 months, but still shouldnt have too.
