My son loves this gym mat. I would highly recommend it. Very easy to put together.
We looked at several other similar products that cost $80-90 and while you can spend more, this one provided everything we needed for much less. After all it's just a mat and a few dangly toys.
Babies are stimulated by this fun toy. It is great to use when the baby is wide awake and not crying.
My baby loves this. he can kick and hit the toys. Sometimes its hard to get the frog to make noise though,besides that this is awesome
We had the FP rainforest play gym and while it was entertaining for our son; it was bulky, difficult to put together and when we tried to fold it and store it in the bag for travel, it cracked as if something was breaking??? So we were stuck leaving it on the floor all the time. It was hard for my son to reach some of the toys, but he did enjoy the lights. This time around, we chose the Hop Along BS gym due to the price and simplicity of the product. This new gym fits perfectly into its storage bag even with all the toys installed. Much simpler and I prefer it that way.
I purchased this baby gym after I had to return another one called the monkey gym because the bar wouldn't stay up. I got this one because it was a good price and it had two bars instead of the one so I figured it would be more stable. It was very easy to set up and my daughter loved it! It was very stable and that was great. The mat was smaller then the pictures made it look but it works fine for my 5 month old, who is way above normal size. It fits her fine though. The toys on the ends do make it harder for younger babies but they seem like they will be fine for her when she gets old enough to start moving around more on her own. Well worth the money to me.
I got this for my 2 month old and he likes it... It keeps him busy for probably around 15-20 minutes and then he starts crying when he gets bored.. It's ok for the price. Assembly was super easy. You can buy different toy attachments if what comes with it is not enough, but if you are going to do that you might as well spend extra thirty bucks and get a play gym with everything.. Oh, I bought mine in-store and the colors there are different.
FAIR IF YOU GET IT BEFORE 5 MONTHS
I bought this mat after looking at many other ones, and thought it was a good mat for the price. The mat is not as large as the picture looks. My one month old couldn't even lay under it as the toys hung on his face. And if he wanted to play with the toys on the sides of the bars, his head would have to be off the mat. It is not worth the money and I would not recommend it to anyone.
