Works great and I had to track down the right connector for my sink to attach it. Clean water is a must.
When I use the filter part the water is clear and tastes good. When I use the other side the water is cloudy and I would and could not drink or make coffee with. The reason
I was disappointed at first when I installed it and quickly realized that the filter indicator is not an LED light like the previous white models I had bought from Amazon. I called Brita to try to get a replacement for the previous white model because the filter light had stopped working when I turned the filtered water on. However as I spoke to them regarding the second one that had had an issue with the light, I realized that the filter indicator might be more reliable on this chrome version which somehow keeps track on how much the filter has been used and will indicate when it has 2 weeks left by changing from the full green to half red, half green and then to red to indicate that it needs to be replaced. I believe there's a filter reset button that needs to be pressed to reset the indicator when you insert the new filter. So I am thinking that at least the light can't start acting wonky because there is no light. I did mark it on my calendar when it should be changed, just to see if it is anywhere near the 4 months that the box claims each filter should last. This is an estimate, of course. I also like the chrome color much better than the white. It matches the faucet and doesn't look like an eyesore.
My water filter system is still about two weeks old. But I have seen the difference. The water from the faucet used to be kinda whitish and taste like a chemical or a little metallic. But I see a very obvious difference in color of water now and the taste has improved, if not totally absent. It was easy to install too. We had to take off the original faucet attachment but fortunately the Brita guys were thoughtful enough to send the attachments that worked. Will see what the future beholds!
Cleared the water from my water faucet noticeably. And matches my steel aesthetic.
Everything went excellent as far as installation and two weeks later my filter replacement indicator window is moving over to red already. Not happy.

The nob became too rigid to spin. Broken after trying multiple times.
I bought this filter for our tap water, since it had started looking foggy and not tasting very good. It got light to moderate use for two months. The product claims "only needs a filter replacement 3x a year!", but our filter cracked and started shooting water everywhere. It is completely worthless.
Pieces are rolling around in the box with no insert packaging and the connectors don't fit the mount. I bought two different ones in color the cheaper one came with all its packaging and this more expensive one didn't
