I bought this not knowing if I would like it or not and I love it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased a Brita pitcher back in the day when they first came out. I don't remember home many years that is but it's a lot. The old one is still working but it's looking a bit beat up so I bought this Monterey model, mostly because it's large enough for us. It is easy to fill and pretty too. I'm not sure about the device that counts when you fill it...I"ll update later. I signed up for the reminder email and I think that's pretty cool. All in all, Brita has kept us in clean, great tasting water for years and I'm hoping to continue that relationship for many more years.

I have been using Brita pictures for several years and I am a step ahead with my doctors. I have Diabeties & Cancer so I had classes to go to, the one thing both classes and Doctors said to do was start using Brita to cleanse all the water I drink and cook with and don't forget the ice too. Brita helps filter the water helping my kidneys, bladder & colon last longer from the break down that can easily happen now. Thanks to every one at Brita for all you do in keeping me healthy. The improvements have been great! I love the push button system to change the filter. Works like a charm. I just bought a new pitcher because there was mold growing inside the handle! I couldn't figure a way to clean that other than dumping bleach into the space and didn't want to be drinking little microscopic amounts of bleach. Yuk! I bought this pitcher because I moved in with my boyfriend and his faucet water was awful. I previously had a Brita that I shared with a roommate and let her take it. I finally got him to start drinking it because you know, boys can be stubborn. We fill it daily and he talks about how he's not sure how he could have drank the gross water straight from the faucet. I bought this after having two PUR faucet filters crack & so far I'm enjoying it. The size is a plus as I refill my 32oz. bottle at least 3 times a day. I do wish I didn't have to hold the lid while pouring; there needs to be a locking feature. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I bought this because my son complained that bottled water is not good for you and needed water to take to school. We bought the BPA free bottle and the pitcher. Didn't think there would be much of a difference and was I wrong. The water from the pitcher tastes 100x better! I use it for my Maltese's water bowl and the stains around his eyes went away. I guess there was something the regular water that bothered him. GREAT PRODUCT! Glad I bought it.
Love Brita pitchers! So easy and convenient and I like how it has a reminder on the pitcher itself to let you know when it should be replaced!
