Just the right size and fits in refrigerator with out using a lot of space. Filtered water taste better than bottled water. Does not take long to filter.
I live in an area with a lot of water pollution. I had a Culligan water cooler, and because I have a bad back that keeps me partially wheelchair bound, I could not lift the 50 lb water jugs it required. So I purchased the Brita water pitcher. The water is every bit as filtered and tasty as was the Culligan system for a fraction of the price. I got the 10 glass pitcher and it is a little big, but I don't have to be always filling it, and it does fit well in my refrigerator. It would be the perfect size for a family. You can depend on clean, clear, good tasting water with a Brita system. The story of the water condition in my community is too long to tell here, but believe me, this pitcher is getting rid of some NASTY stuff!
I purchased the green pitcher to match my current kitchen color. Its a beautiful green the company has chosen. I can warn you not to fill the pitcher more then half way or the lid pops off from the water pressure leaving your counters wet and your cup dripping from the side. an adult needs to pour from it.... I have a 14 yr old and she finds the top annoying but loves the water.
This product is disappointing. It filters ok..but, the lid keeps falling off when you pour. Even the triangle lip falls off and won't stay on. I highly doubt that the gauge on the lid will give an accurate reading on when to replace the new filter.
Poor quality spout part. This is my second pitcher, both had same problem. In first this small part broken in 2 weeks, in the second one I bought had it already broken in packing itself. Good filter and design just bad spout part. I also bought 3 filter packge, all useless now.
The first pitcher I got the little plastic triangle piece was already broken . I went exchanged for the same item and I've had it maybe two weeks now
Lip portion of pitcher piece broken off and was in packaging taped to the pitcher. First pitcher purchased was cracked and same part brokened. I returned it and ordered same color and had same issue with the flap part on the lid near the pour sprout. I will try again in different color- RED not working out for me this time
We use this everyday. Had it for a year .From the start the cover to the handle fell off , then the Handle broke . Not worth the money $$$. Would NOT recommend. Disappointed
The Brita pitcher was cracked from the top of the pitcher almost to the bottom on the pour side and the crack had been taped with clear cellophane tape. The toggle part for pouring was also busted. I called Walmart and the rep said they were sending a replacement and they sent a shipping label for me to mail back the busted Brita pitcher.
The pitcher and the toggle pour piece arrived broken. Not only was there a crack from the pour pour to the bottom of the pitcher, clear cellophane tape had been put over the crack. I contacted Walmart and and was told a replacement was coming. Walmart sent me a shipping label to return the cracked and broken pitcher. I wish I had read the reviews about the similar experiences prior to ordering.
