I love this filter.the water ‘taste' better I save money on using it and not having to buy lots of bottled water. The design is easy to use and my kids can pour it for themselves. It's easy to clean and I love that there is an indicator for the filter life.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to help me drink more water and to remind me that I need to drink water when I see it on my countertop. I have since started drinking more water and less soda and sweet tea.
I have no idea how it filters my water, but I always feel safe drinking water from it (I also boil water beforehand). Elegant design and reasonable sizing!
I can totally taste the difference and I am a water lover. I only drink water very really do I have alcohol or juice. This is a great product and I really like the elite filters changing them every six months is more convenient than every month.
How fast is the filter supposed to drain? The first filter was kinda slow. Second filter is like Niagara Falls. Why the difference? Did I install it correctly?
I bought this pitcher today and I love it! I read a few reviews and some people seemed be having trouble putting in the filter. Some reviewers assumed something was wrong because the water a falling down the sides of the filter instead of through it. This happened to me at first and I out I had put the filter in wrong! I had to look down into the hole to find the right slots so the filter would fit correctly. I believe that's were some people were having trouble they didn't realize the filter needed to be placed correctly in the slots. It would help better if the slots were marked with specific colors so you see how to put the filter in and it would make installation a lot easier! I gave it 4 stars because the little flap that goes over the pouring part is wiggly and I'm scared that part is gonna break soon if I happen to bump against something. Other than that I love this pitcher!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, I have always been satisfied with the filtration of water with my Brita product. The pitcher is easy to lift and maneuver. I will buy Brita again. However, I was very disappointed that, after less than a year, the top on this pitcher broke at the spot it is connected. So now we cannot press the button and have the top go up as designed. Also, the tiny plastic spout cover sticks and the water ends up spilling out all over the place. The filter replacement indicator doesn't work anymore. I feel the design of this particular product is defective. Again, I will buy Brita again. Just not this particular pitcher.
I bought this over a year ago. After 6 months of use the plastic near the handle cracked. We are still using it but are concerned that the handle may fall apart spilling the water. Did not expect it to crack this way. Don't know if there was a small stress crack when it was manufactured.
I really liked this pitcher style initially. After only 3 months of use, the tabs that hold the lid in place broke, making it pretty much useless. Does Brita offer a replacement of the defective lid? (I see in these product reviews that it is a common problem with this model.) I've used Brita pitchers for years...
Purchased 3 months ago indicator no longer works . I put in New filter Nothing. I agree with others junk when you get it out the refrigerator water comes out.I have had Brita many years this is so sad
