My little boy cried every time I put him in his car seat, but since I started using this one he has been good as gold. I'm a pretty consistent user of Britax car seats because they offer high quality, A+ functionality, safety & comfort and this one definitely did not disappoint. In fact every Britax has always been superior to every other car seat. This seat was very easy to install and the instructions were easy to follow. Love the Clean and Comfort Fabric and design. Safety meant everything, but I wanted my baby to have a comfortable seat too since babies spend a lot of time in a seat. The Britax B-Safe Gen2 FlexFit+ infant car seat has everything that one can look for while considering a car seat like it is pretty lightweight to carry around easily, It has comfy head support which helps to support the child's head and neck when they are asleep and quick-adjust 5-point harness & headrest move together to create the perfect fit as baby grows. It came with a high-strength steel reinforced base with Anti-Rebound Bar & Safe Center LATCH Installation. Love how study and durable it is! Britax is the most trusted brand with years of experience making sturdy and easy to install car seats. This is for infants and one of the best parts of it is that it can easily attach to the stroller adapters and the removal is just as easy, though a stroller is not included with this seat. I must say Gen2 FlexFit+ offers more peace of mind than your average car seat. So this car seat is absolutely worth buying, especially at the current asking price. I do wish there were more color options. Overall, Britax made us very happy with the newer updated version and all the upgrades. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I could not recommend the Britax B-Safe Gen2 FlexFit Car seat more! It has so many features I love and it is top notch in safety. The base and car seat are easy to install. I love the strap holders that are on each side so it makes it easy to get baby in and out. My baby spits up a lot and this car seat and straps are so easy to wipe clean. I love that you can carry the baby using the handle and the canopy can still be open the whole way without getting in the way of carrying it. My baby sits deep in the car seat so definitely more protected. While using, multiple other moms have asked me about the car seat as they like the look, features and safety as well. When adjusting for growing baby it was easy and quick to change the harness and buckle. I am so happy with this car seat and have already recommended it to all my new mom friends! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Britax is definitely a brand I've grown to love and finally afford! So just my luck that I was able to get the new Britax B-Safe Gen2 FlexFit Infant Car Seat in Jet. Britax's continuous dedication to keeping children safe is something I admire. This new infant seat is lightweight compared to other infant seats I have previously used. It is very easy to install once you read the manual otherwise it's pretty easy to figure it out without a manual but manuals should always be read. For the review I used the base with the latch system first to see installation and then uninstalled and used the vehicle seat belt for the next installation. And finally installing with just the infant car seat by itself. All 3 methods were relatively simple but installation with just the infant seat was a bit of a hassle as I couldn't get the seat belt to wrap around the approved sections of the seat, and even then the seat belt was pulled out to its max limit which was just a tad short so you have to forcefully push the seat inward to be able to install. But once it was installed I didn't need to tighten it more as it was at the perfect tightness. There's a button at the back of the base to allow the adjustable base to come out when needed to allow proper level of the base. On the inside of the base there's another red button to loosen the latch system. Plenty of instructions sticker to the base for helpful instructions. There is even a spot meant for the base at the front of the base which seems a bit over dramatic. The base doesn't weigh a lot compared to other infant bases I've used which is another plus. My 3 cons on the infant base itself is that the latch system holder on the base does not securely secure the latch belts, which doesn't seem to be too much of a safety concern but I would like to see something updated on this. My next issue is the stickers attached to the base some are peeling off already and it's a new car seat. Lastly the one thing that makes Britax known is for is their easy clicktight installation which I noticed their infant car seat bases do not come with (other then their easy latch system. But sometimes you don't have that option to install with latch.) Next their infant car seat, it is very lightweight like their base. The car seat has very soft padding perfect for newborns, added harness covers that are the perfect size to save those fragile shoulders. The canopy is a nice size but I do wish it had an extended canopy for added shade or a mesh lining. One feature that I love is the adjustable harness to make life easier! My only drawback is that it is located behind the infant seat compared to other brands and even britax's new convertible car seat which is located just above the headrest. Overall I really love this infant seat seat they have padding meant for small newborn infants which is easily removable once they outgrow the infant padding in weight wise. Overall this seems like a huge update from britax's previous older model the B-Safe. Price range I believe it is too high but knowing that Britax is an expensive brand it is within price range of their other seats especially since it comes with a attached rebound bar. Lastly their anti rebound bar is attached to the base itself so you don't have to worry about installing it! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this infant seat.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been loving this seat for our little one, he's a really big 4-month-old and it's already getting hot in Arizona. The cooling fabric on this car seat really makes it comfortable and easy to clean . We've already had to adjust the height of the straps a couple times and I am loving the really quick button feature. My old car seat always had a rethread system that drove me bananas. The other thing we really love about this is that we can just hand it to Grandma and have her install it without needing a base. I can't tell you how many times we've been late because Grandma forgot the base in her closet at home. Overall, I've just been so impressed with this car seat and the safety features, especially the rebound bar, which is relatively new to me and frankly genius. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'd never used a britax seat before, but I know them from their strollers and in the stroller world they are known for premium quality at a big box brand price. For this reason I was quite excited when stellar Product testing panel asked me if I wanted to try out this seat. Weight: it is not the lightest infant seat out there, but it is definitely lighter than most. And what little extra weight it has it makes up for with the ergonomic handle that encourages you to use proper body mechanics when carrying your infant in the seat. I don't use infant seats as carriers much since it's not the safest place for baby when outside the car, but I definitely appreciate the ability to carry my young infant already bundled in his car seat when the weather is bad, and when I do, I appreciate the way this seat carries. Installing: the latch base is as easy to install in your car as your car makes it. You click the straps into the latches in your seat then pull to adjust. As someone who is experienced in using the latches this was not difficult. The seat then drops into the base seamlessly. The release button was easy to find and the seat pops right out. Having recently gone to the baby store to test seats I can say many other seats are a struggle to release from the base. How it installs without the base also depends a lot on your vehicle, but it was not difficult to do in our car. Adjustments: I absolutely love no thread straps. I will never use a car seat that requires you to re-thread the straps when adjusting the headrest. This seat adjusts like butter! The straps are also easy to adjust when buckling baby. One of my favorite features is how simple it is to adjust the tilt of the seat to balance it in your car! Materials: the materials used in this seat feel high quality comparable to premium brand seats. The cushions are soft and the fabric is too. The shell of the seat is durable and overall it looks luxury. Safety: the seat feels very safe. My child does not move when strapped in. The seat does not move in the base and the base does not move in the car. I also appreciate the added rebound bar. I would not hesitate to trust this seat with my child's life.

The car seat is fairly heavy but it has some amazing added safety features such as the protective shell, the anti rebound bar and the recline to help give the car seat the best position. We had to adjust our car seat once my son reached 11 pounds and it was very easy to do! I had the seat adjusted and ready to go in under two minutes. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised when I received the Britax B-Safe Gen2 FlexFit . My first impression upon taking it out of the box was that the fabric was great quality, and that it was a very stylish car seat. I also noticed the rubber grip on the handle, which is a nice touch. It has a good weight to it, heavy enough to feel like it's a safe car seat, but not excessively heavy. Installation was an absolute breeze; you hook the anchors, pull on the strap to tighten and you're done. This feature will make switching the seat in and out of cars super easy. Clicking the seat in and out of the base was also very simple. We travel quite frequently with our kids, so I wanted to see how easy it would be to install the car seat without the base. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to secure the seat using just the seatbelt. It will be a great seat to travel with. Some other features I really liked were how easy it was to adjust the harness, harness height/headrest and the recline position. I also appreciated the added safety features like the anti-rebound bar as well as the recline angle indicators. Overall, this is an awesome car seat. When I received it, I, admittedly, didn't have high expectations, but the safety features and quality completely blew me away. Highly recommend. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this infant seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. First off, the car seat base is really easy to install. This base comes with the latch anchors and those work wonders. My favorite feature is the car base bar. The car base bar helps keep the base nice and secure in my car. The bar keeps the base from rising up adding to the security for the baby. The bar is also padded so there is little chance of my son to injure himself as get gets taller and feels around with his feet. I get worried about installing car seats without the base so I have not tried that yet. The car seat is equipped with the necessary safety features that would allow you to put in any car with just using the seat belt. The head rest moves very easily when trying to adjust for my baby's height. I am glad that it has extra padding as the rest of the padding feels thin and looks like it could be uncomfortable. The car seat itself is lightweight and easy to move in and out of my car. The handle has a nice hand grip built in which is very soft to touch and easy on my hand. It also has nice foldable canopy which is very flexible and easy to open/close. The fabric is soft and blocks out virtually all light. Overall, this is a good car seat. Where it lacks is the padding around the seat as it is very thin. Our car drives to see family is quite long and I feel like his body would get sore and uncomfortable quickly. What makes this car seat stand out is the extra safety features such as the car base bar. I don't worry knowing that it helps keep it secure when my baby is in the seat.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a mom of a 4 month old baby that weighs about 17 lbs and is 25 inches long. I drive a SUV which also has another car seat in the back seat for my 3 year old. The safety features in this car are above and beyond. I love the steel reinforced base and the safe cell crumple zone. These extra features help add to safety in my mind. This car seat was pretty easy to install. I used the base in my vehicle. It was a little difficult to get a nice tight fit with the base. I actually went back and read the directions a couple of time to make sure I wasn't missing anything because I could just not get it tight enough. I felt like the fit was almost tighter when installing it without the base. But I prefer the base because of the added safety features the base had so that is how I used it in my SUV. The harness and headrest were so easy to adjust. No rethreading necessary. When kids are this age and growing so fast, it makes such a difference when you don't have to take the car seat apart to adjust the straps. I was able to get a good fit every time. I would have to say my favorite feature of the car seat was how my little one fit in the seat. It is nice and deep and the fabric was soft and smooth. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the Britax B-Safe Gen2 Flexfit as part of the Stellar Testing Panel. I have to be honest - this was NOT my favorite infant seat. It was extremely heavy and hard to install. The manual said the base wasn't supposed to over hang the seat by more than 3 inches so I couldn't even use the base in my van, which seemed really odd. It was easy to use with the seat belt but I think most parents would prefer using the base. Probably the best feature of this carseat is the high level of safety it provides. I guess that's why the seat was so heavy. I just would have preferred something lighter and that could have been used with the base.
