I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. I am pleased with this printer/all-in-one combo. I wanted something compact that could do it all with wireless abilities for my desk. I was very happy to find easy step-by-step directions included which made setting the printer up a breeze. The ink is easy to install, paper loads into a cartridge which pops right into the front of the printer, and it took no time at all to set up the wireless thanks to the included instructions. I do not consider myself tech savvy, so I am very happy that I was able to print off my phone and laptop wirelessly very quickly with no issues. I have found this printer easy to use for printing, making copies, and scanning documents in my home office. I do not send any faxes so I did not try that feature, but everything has worked great for me. I like that I was able to scan something on the printer and send it to my cell phone so that I could attach the document in an email from my phone quickly.I would recommend this printer. Setup was very user friendly, there were several steps but it was all explained in the documentation and on the LCD screen. Configuring it to connect via wifi was shockingly easy. I receive with a very clear instructions on how to assemble and to use. It comes with a CD where I download the software into my computer.Very quick and fast.The thing that I like it is I can print photos or documents straight from my phone. The output is clear and vibrant. And I believe this is economic in terms of ink usage.Very easy to replace paper and even to put photo paper. I can easily adjust base on the size of the paper.This is also perfect on my computer desk.Its light and the size is just about right.Overall, I would like to say that this Brother MFC-J805DW printer is excellent and I`m impress on how it works. I purchased this printer one year ago to replace a Lexmark. I purposely waited until now to give a review because I wanted to see if the same quality would continue past the ‘honey moon period'. It continues to operate as well if not better than the day I set it up a year ago! Love, love, and love this printer!

I absolutely loved this printer.This printer is very easy to use, once I got past the installation issues. The Disk did not work for my installation. I have since installed other software; so I know the drive works. After being unsuccessful via the installation disc that came with the printer, I decided to go online. It was very easy to locate the installation instructions and proceed online. I was nervous to setup the wireless connection, because I always used printers in my home that were connected via cord. I did not see a cord in the box, so I became nervous. However, the fear was not needed, because setting this machine up was EASY! The color and black ink look very crisp as well. The other aspect I love about this printer is the ease of printing double sided.I have used this printer to print, scan, and copy. All aspects work great! I can`t wait to sign up for my Ink In Box. It`s an all-in-one in a nice compact size. It took probably 5 minutes to set it up and the built in demo helped me understand how to use the different features. One of the things I liked best is the multi-paper feed for scanning/copying. I do a lot of bulk scanning for work and this cut my work time. To have this option in a compact machine is great. I`m also weirdly happy about the new ink cartridges. NO LEAKING! I`ve had problems in the past but the ones for this printer are so clean and easy to put in. It was super easy to set up and get connected with my iPhone to print over wifi. That`s definitely my favorite feature. I also love you can scan and copy multiple ways AND it comes with a year`s worth of ink! It came with a quick set up guide that took me under 5 minutes to get her going. I like how small this printer is without sacrificing features compared to others I`ve owned. The only thing I would fix is the paper tray doesn`t hold much and is pretty difficult to remove and put back in. But other than that it does great and I highly recommend this multi-function printer. I needed a printer to use at home for light printing and copying and this all-in-one printer fits the bill. This printer is quite compact and does not take up much space and it is also very light weight compared to other printers I`ve had in the past. The setup was pretty easy with the reference guide and the installer disc for my computer. It also comes with starter ink cartridges that will last me a long time. Once you have everything set up which took me less than 30 minutes, you can start printing from your computer or your phone using WiFi. I have always had a printer that you have to connect with a cord to your computer or laptop so printing now is a breeze! I can`t believe how easy it is to print from my cellphone. This is a total game changer for sure. I think my favorite part is that this printer is compatible with Google Drive and Dropbox which I use all the time. The interface is easy to use and I like that it has actual buttons and not a touch screen because those seem to not work well. Also, when printing, I love how it automatically prints on both sides which saves so much paper. The text on the sheets that print out are very crisp and sharp. I needed to scan some pictures onto my computer and they came out amazing. The scanner/copier works very well. Overall, I am completely satisfied with this printer.

Deliver and Packaging: The packaging the printer arrived in was informative and gave a good sense of the look and capabilities of the printer. "One Year of Ink" inside jumped out immediately. Also got an idea of the functionality the printer would have in terms of wifi and remote access. I had a little concern with the overall size of the printer once open.Unboxing: The packaging of the product was exceptional. You can access all components in one simple bag and Styrofoam package. The quick setup guide was also a positive out of the box. I haven`t had experience needing more than two printer cartridges. Usually black and then a color cartridge. Three are 4 cartridges required for this model which was a little concerning for long term expense and maintenance. One item that would preclude me from fulling using the printer if I didn`t already have one is a phone to wireless router adapter. Otherwise I`m unable to fax being I have digital phone service. Installation: I found setup and installing software was extremely easy. The step by step install made it hard to make mistakes along the way. Inserting the 4 ink cartridges once again wasn`t amazing but easy enough as the area is right in the front with simple door that opens with one finger! Instructions for which cartridge goes in each slot is on the door as well which is a nice plus. Paper loads right in the front via easy to access tray. The details inside the tray could be a little overwhelming if a person was not familiar. Most people just use letter so could me more informative than need be. The front panel is adjustable and can be shut if needed for space. The size of the printer is somewhat larger than others I`ve seen and used with similar functionality. However, once I used the printer for color and double sided prints it overcame this first concern. Usage both directly and via wireless: Once setup and installed I was able to use this printer within 10 minutes both directly and over my wireless network. I am experienced in setting up printers in this manner but the instructions provided were better than most! I feel anyone with a low level of technical skill could accomplish this setup. I`ve been unable to fax using the printer as I haven`t had the need. However, I have scanned and emailed billing documents for my wife`s business. Clarity is great on finished attachmentOverall: The printer seems to be of good strong quality plastic. All parts structurally strong and that`s a big bonus for me. I have kids in tandem with using the printer often. In the past the feeder tray or paper return have broken on our printers. This printer looks to remove that issue. Meh, just ok for scanning. I bought this printer mostly for scanning multiple page documents and that only works half the time due to a memory error I've tried to troubleshoot but can't resolve. It prints nicely and I do like the large print ink tanks.
