Last year, I bought this sweet sewing embroidery NS2750D. I chose the 2750D for the versatility and size. She has great stitching and is going strong.
I bought this machine, specifically for quilting, but I been very impressed with all the functions. Easy to use, easy to thread, easy to share items made with this great machine. I have 2 older Viking Huskvarna machines that are work horses. My Vikings don't mind sharing their room with the Innov-is. I am a satisfied customer that wishes she had more hours in the day to see.
I have only dabbled with sewing prior to picking up this machine. It's also my first embroidery machine. It is such a joy to use, it makes me want to do projects any chance I get rather than dread doing a project due to being uncertain if my old machine would work. It really makes sewing fun and embroidery too!
From the first time I turned it on I was amazed. It was a breeze to sew on. The needle threader is the best and works every time. It embroidered my pillow cases just beautifully so I had to do the top sheet to match! Love this machine
I haven't had this machine very long but find it to be very user friendly with good stitch quality. I am curious why all the online documentation says it does not have My Custom Stitch, but it does have the feature. It is on the machine, in the user manual, and on the overview video I just watched?????? I look forward to learning more about this very nice machine.
It can be a litttle overwhelming but the English manual is super easy to follow. I've had this machine 3 years now but I don't use it on a regular basis but every time I do I can figure it out and if not I have the manuals support. Easy to thread as long as you use the right thread and upper thread the machine correctly. I make 20 service dog bandanas every year (it's main purpose) for my SD yearly convention. It's does an awesome professional looking job.
In the first 12 months I pieced 30 quilts and did countless embroidery projects. It always performs perfectly. One thing that should be noted is that this machine won't function with thick, fuzzy Coats & Clarks 50 weight quilting thread but performs perfectly with other, higher-quality brands. It's important to keep thread and fabric fuzz vacuumed form inside the bobbin case and needle plate area for optimum performance I highly recommend this machine.
I have been a Brother fan for decades and I saved a long time to get this final machine for my retirement years. I love it. You must be sure you know what you are doing and if not visit your local Brother dealer for some training. Machines are more complicated now and so you need to be sure you know the right threads, needles, etc. But once you spend the time doing that you will have the ability to do so much more with this amazing machine. Thank you Brother for making such a wonderful machine in my price range.
The 2750 has lived up to expectations except for one very important detail. I purchased this particular machine because the details said that I could connect directly to my PC. Well, this is not the case at all, and I have had no luck finding any documentation to rectify the problem.
I bought this machine a year ago because I liked the versatility of sewing and embroidery. I have constant problems with thread tension - I'll be 1/3 if the way they a sewing project when suddenly I'm getting the white bobbin thread showing on top and the top thread color can't be seen . I also gave many needles break . I have referenced the manual many times for correct size and purchase the brand they recommend. It seems like every other project I have 1-2 needles break . Very frustrating. I was hoping to start a small embroidery business but don't dare as I might ruin someone's article of clothing with the tension issues .
