This label maker rocks - may have to get another one for the greenhouse. I've had this one in the garage, in the house, in my she shed.... Labels for everything. And... it is so easy to use. Right out of the box. Can't wait to check out all the features.... I highly recommend this label maker!!!!

My wife bought this for me a while ago and I liked it, but now I love it. When I received it I found it helpful and useful, but not much more useful than the older hand-held Brother label maker I had. This summer I started rewiring my boat and now I love this label maker. The ability to create and store labels on my laptop formatted in a way that allowed me to label wires has made this project much easier. I've found other label formats that my old handheld simply would not accommodate as well.
Works flawlessly out of the box. The best part is the ability to use the hundreds of fonts on my computer in the labels. So far I've only used it like a printer through the computer software and it's exactly what I was looking for.
I bought this to use with my business to do address labels faster, I had no idea it would be as useful as it is! I now make all my inventory labels with it, I can do it on the machine itself, or on my computer screen. I can change the size labels, or the font, anything. This has proved to be an invaluable tool in my business! I would definitely recommend this label maker to others, it is so easy to use, and you can even switch out the 'tapes' before you are done with the one you are on. I also love the carrying case to keep it in and keep it clean. Great label maker!
I work for the military and I have been revamping and refurbishing our central tool system! I have been following a red white and blue theme! This machine had alloud me to maintain a clear tool etching following the patriotic theme for all of our 10,000 plus tools. I have been quite please with its performance. Only thing I wished it had was a warning when you are running close to running out of tape.
Retired our XL printer with the purchase of the PT-D600VP. The hard shell carrying case incorporates a soft vinyl hinge, not a "pin" type. Its not going to last like the case for the XL.
I really like this label maker but there is one flaw that I think needs to be noted when considering a purchase of this unit. It wastes a lot of extra label to print out any particular label. There are a few tweaks you can do but none of them are great options.
It's.... Just ok. It looked really exciting and fun to work with, but in the end, really doesn't offer very many options. Have to take the time to learn and import fonts, graphics, etc... Print speed is ok. Tends to 'skip' and often times, jams while printing, which, obviously, creates alignment issues with the tape, or ink where it shouldn't be, or sometimes missing ink where it should be.
