Lovely tree, size true to description and nice pot, arrived safety packaged with nothing broken (branches or pot). So far it is healthy and doing great. It is mostly balanced and looks pleasing, and I am sure it will look even better with a little time and work. I grew up around these trees and it is lovely to have one now as a bonsai, and indoors (on a sunny windowsill) nonetheless.
It took about 9 days to ship to the store for pick up but we received it is great condition. After about a week some leaves started to yellow but I assume it is the natural yellowing of leaves. It was a gift and happy with my purchase as I placed the order with hesitation.
Nice as always from Brussels
Normally I don't review items. Ever. But honestly I took a huge gamble on this item since most bonsai trees bought "blind" are not remotely like the picture. I was given a Brussel bonsai as a gift (I collect them) and I was impressed with its quality so I decided to buy this one. The age of the tree and quality of the packaging, pot and foliage surpassed what I expected (and the picture). Some leaf loss in the first week after but now it's got a bunch of new growth and is very stable. I believe that most of the bad reviews on the internet are because people have no idea how to care for this item and don't care to learn... or buy at the wrong time of year. Don't buy in the winter when you know the tree will sit outside after delivery! It will die- but that's common sense. I highly recommend the product and company.
This tree comes directly from credible, professional bonsai growers and that's a good thing. The tree itself was gorgeous, even in its dormant, bare stem state. The pit was also very nice and covered in a blanket of fine moss. I plan to enjoy this for years to come.
I love this tree! It looks more like a miniature tree than any if the bonsai trees that I have seen. As long as you keep it watered daily and trimmed, it will always look good. It loves heat and humidity and early day Sun.
The bonsai was like the picture. The bonsai lost around 30% of his leaves which is normal. Changing place a bonsai will always loose a part of his leaves.
Beautiful bonsai. Came healthy and pest free. Just a little bit sparse in leaves. Great brand.
Looks good, 4 out of 5 stars because I was sent the wrong tree the first shipment but Walmart corrected it and the Brazilian Rain Tree came in great shape as expected from brussel's would definitely recommend! the tree is healthy looking and has great structure and movement in the trunk. the pictures are of the tree after unboxing.
I received this tree well packaged and in good health, not as shown on the picture but still very nice enough for me to keep it. Not a broken branch and very healthy. My tree is thriving amazingly and started training already for sure a tree with a lot of potential.
