The bonsai tree came with about 20 buds on it but it would not open for a while. Then the leaves started to fall off. The instructions said to water it only every three days. So I decided I can to figure out how to care for this tree on my own. So I looked up "Gardenia" in the Wikipedia website and found out the leaves thrive on humidity in the air. So I immediately moved it into my back porch where it is the right temperature and lots of humidity. Plus I added "Blossom Booster" fertilizer in the water and watered daily with a stone filled tray underneath the pot. About two days later, the buds finally started to open up and the leaves stopped falling off. It filled the room with a beautiful scent of Gardenia. I wish a terrarium came with the Gardenia to prevent the leaves from falling off and to help the buds open up sooner.
This plant arrived in great condition. Good big healthy plant . So far all the bonsai that I have purchased from Wal-Mart have been of excellent quality at a very affordable rice.
I like this little tree so much!!! But I forgot water him few days in summer time，he died. Water him every day. Dont forget!
This was purchased as a gift for one of my long term team member. She recently lost her grandmother to cancer. So the team and I want to gift her something that she would remember her memory so we opted on this bonsai tree. She was so touched by the gift that it brought tears to her eyes. Plus it smells so good. Wonderful gift and you have a great selection. Thanks
The Gardenia plant arrived at Wal-Mart earlier than anticipated, was very healthy & green, packaged incredibly well, and was very convenient to pick up. However, the picture posted to the Wal-Mart website is misleading - there were no Gardenia flowers on the plant when I picked it up! Was disappointed.
Nice dont have flower yet but is cute and nice .
I received the Gardenia Bonsai in fine condition, but, it stated outdoors and I didn't know that there was such a plant meant for outdoors, I wanted the plant to be indoors, has anyone kept their bonsai indoors and if so how did the tree do?
I purchased a medium. It is small. It is sparse. It has dead leaves. The picture shows my newly purchased Camellia in medium. The tiny plant is what was sent. It is the Gardenia.
No flowers. Packed poorly not worth it at all
First time I received plant it came with broken pot, send it back , I got new plant then it's has yellow leaves, try to send it back but company refused to exchanged it, I guess because I try to send it back twice, but I had problems since the first time, it's not my fault. Now I got stuck with a dead plant and lost my money and plant.
