This seat is awesome. It fits great between my other two kids booster seats with backs and is nice and lightweight!
These are great. I ordered two. One for my 6 yr old and one for my 4 1/2 yr old. They are in the back seat of my van with a car seat in the middle since we are expecting our 5th child soon. So I can have 3 in the very back and still fit the other two in the middle who are also still in car seats!
Easy to set up. Easy to use.
Just got back from one week in Hawaii where we rented a minivan and used our BubbleBum seats. The BubbleBums were super convenient and worked well. My 2 seven year olds were able to buckle themselves easily and properly after I supervised them the first couple of times. The deflated BubbleBums were easy to pack in the luggage and contributed very little weight towards the airline baggage weight limit. Highly recommend!
Compact and easy to travel with
I bought this for my youngest (7 yrs old) who didn't want to sit in a "baby" seat anymore because his older siblings didn't have to. I did my research and found out that this booster is as safe as any other booster and it doesn't look like a traditional car seat. Now my son and I are both happy because I know he's riding safely and he thinks the seat is cool!
Just right for three in the rear of a small auto. Easy toinstall and remove.
My sister had a 3rd son and couldn't figure out how to fit an infant car seat, toddler car seat and a booster in the backseat of her car. With the BubbleBum they all fit comfortably! We use ours as an extra booster for carpool in my minivan- the kids all fight over it and when my son had a party at a friends house and got a ride home, I was comfortable knowing he was properly restrained in his BubbleBum that he stored in his backpack- thank you for one amazing product!
I bought this to fit in between 2 other car seats. It fits. It boosts him. That's about it. It doesn't do a great job of placing the lap portion of the seatbelt where it needs to be (across his lap, not his stomach). It reaches about halfway down his legs instead of to his knees like his other booster, which leads to him slouching. It's very difficult to get the straps into the little clips that it has, and one has to be clipped and unclipped each time the child gets into or out of the seat. I'm not super thrilled. It's the only booster that would fit in that spot so I'm keeping it but I wouldn't recommend it if ANY other booster were an option. It's truly a last resort. Also, on a lighter note, more fun boy colors please. :)
We used this booster seat a couple of times and it wouldn't stay inflated. Each time my child sat on it the air came out and it went flat. He also said it was uncomfortable.
