This Burpee Sweet Basil Seed produces a crop that is excellent for pesto and complements tomatoes and mild-flavored vegetables such as squash. It should be planted in average soil in full sun when there will be no frost. Sow these organic herb seeds about 6" apart and cover with .25" of fine soil. Firm lightly and keep evenly moist. Seedlings emerge in one to two weeks. Harvest when buds begin to form up until frost. This herb seed packet is certified USDA organic.
