This is the only lip balm I use. I have been a loyal user for over five years. The consistency is thick, and it stays on my lips. I have a tube in all my desks at work, I wear one on my lanyard, have a tube in my purse and gym bag, and of course, is a nighttime staple located on my nightstand.

really like how it feels, safe to eat if I accidentally do, and works well with people like me that drink from the rim of glasses a lot, appreciate how easy it is to remove the chapstick
Smooth and nourishing! Other brands are either too drying or make my lips burn. Burt's Bees lip balm is the best and I never use anything else!
I love this chapstick. Not only does it keep my lips from cracking, it give them a little bit of tingling fresh feel. I always put it on before I go to bed, and in the morning before I go on my walk. And anytime I am not wearing lipstick. It is my favorite! I have one everywhere!
I use all kinds of lip balm from Vaseline to aquaphor to CO Bigelo, and for the price this one is my favorite. I use it before bed and wake up and still it's on my lips licking in moisture. I wouldn't say it's flavored because you can't taste the peppermint, but it definitely smells like peppermint and that's so relaxing.
While the description may state it's the "original", this is not the same formula that made this lip balm amazing and popular 15+ years ago. Although the formula doesn't seem to have changed significantly, the ingredients for the true original, in case anyone would like to know, were listed as: "Beeswax, coconut oil, sunflower oil, tocopheryl acetate & tocopherol (vitamin E), lanolin, peppermint oil, comfrey root extract, rosemary extract." I'm guessing the biggest difference is the omission of vitamin E from the current formula. Hopefully Burt's Bees will consider using the original formula again and return this balm to its former glory. Note how the bee also looked different on the label for the original (see attached image).
I ordered and paid for a 4-pack value pack of Burt's Bees Lip Balm. I only received 3 tubes. These are stocking stuffers and unfortunately, I don't have time to order more before the date I plan to distribute them to my team.

Burns my lips. I didn't realize the peppermint was going to be so strong. Do not wear a face mask while wearing this. It made my eyes burn. It protects my lips just as good as the cheaper lip balm. I won't buy this again.
