I have been using this moisturizer for a little over a month and I love it! Because of being in the sun this summer, my skin was feeling a bit dry. I have used other Burts Bee's products before and know that they are of quality and have worked great with my skin. The lotion goes on evenly, it absorbs quickly, and it doesn't make my skin feel oily. I even used it on my face when out of face lotion for a day, and made my skin feel amazing! This is a product I would highly recommend to friends and family! Thank you Burts Bee's for an amazing product!
I'm outside in my garden alot so my skin takes a beating during the hot months. I also happen to have sensitive skin. I apply this moisturizer when I get out of the shower and it stays with me all day. Also, it has a great light fragrance to it. I've told several of my friends about this product I like it so much. If you're looking for a lotion that stays with you and goes on smoothly this is your product.
I have extremely dry, itchy skin on my legs and feet.. Using this lotion stops the itch dead in its tracks! I used to stay up half the night scratching, now I put some on before bed and sleep like a baby. Its not too heavy, never greasy, the scent is terrific and it seems to really soothe my skin, its even gentle enough for my face Another terrific product I cannot live without! Thank you
this lotion is truly a 24 hr moisturizer from Burt's bees. My sister told me about it when I complained of dry winter skin. I use it year round because it even helps keep me from peeling when I've had too much sun or wind. the fragrance is very light and natural enough not to bother my sensitive allergies. I have recommended to several friends who also love it.
Makes my skin feel great also
This isn't a bad lotion, but it's sort of plain in my opinion. I don't like the combination of aloe and milk, doesn't seem to work. The smell sort of reminds me of glue or something. It moisturizes okay, but it makes my skin feel kind of pasty. I would recommend Milk and Honey lotion over this any day.
I bought this after my heat rash wouldn't heal. It healed the rash in two days and my skin felt great. I even recommended it to other people. But the smell of the lotion was very, very strange. A few weeks later the smell was so unbelievably bad it gave me a headache and made me feel sick. The bottle doesn't seem old and I haven't had it for more than a few months. I have no idea why it smells so terrible but I will not be buying nor recommending it again.
I have used Burt's Bees lotions for around 8 years now. I started with their Milk and Honey lotion and then switched to the lighter scent of the Aloe and Buttermilk when it came out. I loved both of them and the way they nourished my dry and itchy skin. Well now that the formulas have been changed and are "new and improved" I can't tolerate the smell of either one of them. I originally purchased the "New and Improved" Aloe and Buttermilk lotion and found that it had a bad odor. Upon returning to the store to change it out for the "New and Improved" Milk and Honey lotion, I found it to be just as unpleasant. The fake and "plasticky" smell in these 2 products actually make me feel nauseous even after trying to wash them off. I am beyond disappointed and miss my old lotions. I do not look forward at all to having to go through another time of searching for another product that actually works for and feels good to my skin. I find it frustrating that products must be "improved" when they are best sellers and made Burt's Bees what it is today. My hope is that someday the new owners of Burt's Bees will figure this out and not mess with a good thing.
It makes a good business sense if customers are given the choice to buy the OLD FORMULA VS. THE NEW FORMULA of the ALOE & BUTTERMILK BODY LOTION. I prefer the OLD FORMULA of the product, it worked better, the result is more discernible. Change can be good but often times it does not work for everyone.
I've used and loved Burt's Bees products for years, but I'm very unhappy with the changes they made to this! This product is too heavy and leaves a white film on my skin even when I try to use very little. It's similar to what you experience with a sunscreen product containing zinc oxide. Also, it smells "plasticy" - almost as though the plastic container smell is seeping into the product.
