I've been using this for years. It doesn't dry out my skin yet my face feels clean after using it. Note - I don't wear foundation, so I cannot comment on effectiveness of makeup removal.
I love this product! I use to buy Fresh Soy Cleanser but it started to make my face red and over dry. I dont wear foundation, concealers, B&B's, so if you actually wear make up then, no I wouldn't recommend this product to you. If you are looking for a facial cleanser that won't over dry and leave your skin hydrated with health glow this should be your jam!!!!! It's does feel like lotion which make take a while to get use to, water is what truly rinses your skin, not product. So if face still fells greasy you aren't washing throughly enough. Cheers 2 healthy skin!
this feels great on my skin its not like a soap but more like a thisck lotion texture but it is balmy and cleans not greasy either. smells great and makes my sknin look calm. It removed makeup well to.
This product does all the above! It's silky smooth and creamy going on and it hydrates and the same time it cleanses. It doesn't strip your skin or leave it tight or dry feeling. It does have an off putting smell in my opinion because it contain witch hazel which I dislike the smell of but its tolerable especially for all the benefits. As someone with sensitive skin that easily turns red thats also combination (dry in some spots, oily in others, with occasional breakouts) this product is a lifesaver. I did notice more breakouts in the first week I used it but nothing much more than normal afterwards (could be purging or just normal hormones that week.) Overall 10/10 highly recommend!
NUMBER ONE IT IS CRUELTY FREE!!!! THAT IS WHAT I BUY. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS FACE WASH IT IS LUXURIOUS AND MY FACE FEELS SO CLEAN AND SOFT, NEVER DRY AND NO HARSH CHEMICALS. THANK YOU, BURT BEES FOR GIVING US SUCH FANTASTIC PRODUCTS I LOVE EVERYTHING I BUY.
I've been using this cleanser along with their Rosewater Toner, Daily Moisturizing Cream, Night Cream (Sensitive), Spot Treament, and Deep Pore Scrub. My skin has improved so much and I've had people compliment me on how I look like I have flawless skin. I'm very pleased with the products. They're not heavily scented and don't leave my face feeling tight or red like other products I had used. I attached some pictures below of my first day of using the products to my most recent.
I find Burt's Bees cruelty free products to be top-notch. This face cream is no exception. My skin is comfortable in its own skin using this product -- so far no allergic reactions.
What I love about this product is there is no perfumed scent. If you have sensitive, dry skin I highly recommend this product. Just be careful with the amount used, a little goes a long way. My only complaint is feeling like I can't get it all rinsed off and residue is left behind, however, post wash my skin doesn't burn or feel dry and thirsty. If you suffer from dry, sensitive skin I recommend you try this product.
It isn't soapy enough for me. It's like putting on lotion in the shower.
